I think this is who we play where

    Hibs at Easter Road
    Aberdeen at Pittodrie
    St Johnstone at Fir Park
    Ross County in Dingwall
    Livingston at Fir Park

    I thought it would be

    Aberdeen (H)
    Livingston (H)
    St Johnstone (H)
    Hibs (A).
    Ross County (A)

Devine. Back to Rangers. He would benefit from going out on loan to a lower league for a spell

He was previously on loan to Partick and latterly to Brechin in the Highland League where he only played 11 games. After that he went back to Rangers and played 4 games for their ‘B’ team before coming to us on loan.  No harm to the guy but having watched him since he arrived it’s hard to see him making his way in top level football.

  3. Our ‘Goal’

The referee had a clear and unobstructed view and he didn’t see anything wrong with it. No Aberdeen player thought there was anything wrong with it. Three highly experienced ex-professional players didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. Some faceless clown in a TV studio in Glasgow took 4 minutes to examine it before calling the referee to the pitch side monitor.

There were 3 big decisions last week at Tynecastle and the match referee and VAR got them all wrong. If all of these incidents don’t send a clear message to the SFA that their use of the VAR system is utterly wrong then nothing will.

For me the most disappointing aspect is the extremely low turnout on what I'd stress is an important issue.

Agreed and based on the outcome it seems that about 2/3 of Well Society members didn’t care enough to vote. However you would need to try and canvass them to try to ascertain their reasons for not voting before jumping to any conclusions.

  5. Our record in the league at Ibrox is dreadful. Only 9 wins (and 19 draws) in 137 visits.

Better ‘Well sides than the current one haven’t been able to win there so it would be no disgrace to lose.

    As always, hoping otherwise. COYW.

With 5 games to go to the split, what are our chances? Looking at previous tables, a team seems to require anywhere from 40-50 points to get into the top 6 by the end of matchday 33. And looking at the table right now, you'd imagine the magic number will be around 43-45 points. We're on 29 points now, with 15 up for grabs, so the top 6 is likely out of reach unless we win a lot and those around and above us lose a lot. Nonetheless, matchday 33 against Hibs could be a cracker.

    Rangers (A)
    Aberdeen (H)
    St Mirren (H)
    Dundee (A)
    Hibs (H)

Excluding Rangers, the rest are all winnable because the others are not exactly firing on all cylinders at present.

Try contacting Sally Hall. The answer to those 2 questions might go a long way to deciding what investment route to go down.

That’s it right there in a nutshell.

So we should take any investment going and spend like crazy but if we go bust it's ok cause we can come back as some tinpot outfit playing in public parks.

That’s not what he said. I’m afraid that’s typical of too many posters coming on here and putting their own spin on others’ remarks.

  10. Personally I think this game could define our season - win and I think we’ll be safe but lose and …….

Having to play on that heap of shredded car tyres is no easy ask and we did put a hell of lot into yesterday’s game so I hope we don’t get a reaction to that.

I’d really love to win because it would be a big shot in the arm prior to our sojourn to Castle Greyskull.

You could argue that we already add a premium as its a category A match which means the prices are higher than a normal category B.

Unfortunately it also applies to home tickets as well so it seems we cannot charge away fans more rhan home fans. Whether that's an SPFL rule or a gentleman's agreement between clubs I don't know.

Thanks santheman. That settles it for me - ban the b*stards. They already do it to each other so it must be okay.

  12. Lennon Miller is just 17 and looks as though he has a very good career in front of him.

However, media hacks and pundits suggesting that the OF clubs should think about signing him is disgraceful. The same clowns always bemoan how uncompetitive the league is yet as soon as any decent players appear on the scene at other clubs they start touting them.

I just hope him and his dad don’t get carried away only to have his career ruined like many others before him. If he keeps progressing he can set his sights much higher than Ibrox or Parkhead.
