    Rangers

Aye, the 7 or 8 big switches across the park worked absolute wonders and they were all taken down brilliantly with one touch. Some of the vision for the passes was outstanding as well.
  2. Oh I wonder. Or mibbe it's because he's came so close the last few games, hitting the bar and post and giving away the penalty to Steua Bucharest. All this despite frequently being one of the best players on the pitch. He wears his heart on this sleeve and you can see from his reactions on the pitch how desperate he is to make a real impact for the team and he obviously saw this as his big chance. Gutted that he missed and gutted for him.

    Rangers

Moutaouakil for me. Composure under pressure was fantastic and look's like he'll be able to make that wing his own in future games. Other mentions would be O'Brien who I thought we didn't use enough, Ruddy, Coke and Hately. Thought Hammel contributed his bit anaw, good to see.

    Penalty

Good save. Only thing wrong with the penalty was that it was a good height for a keeper but more often than not those would go in.
  5. Weird. I had a dream this morning that we beat them 3-1. 3-0 up at one point as well! The well are swell!
  6. Only realised that this morning so phoned a few pals who didny know either. I know most folk on the board are up to date but in case anyone doesny know yet... Kick off. 12:15.
  7. Is the ticket office open till 5 the morra? I'm still trying to get Saturday off work but won't find out till tomorrow afternoon.

    Jim O Brien

Nay ifs or buts, I fuckin love jim o'brien. Wears his heart on his sleeve when he's playing and is turning (or has turned) into an absolutely magic player. Good shit!
  9. Gannon want's Motherwell to play his style of football, not Mark McGhees. What better example of Gannons football than the team he used to very successfully manage?
  10. Absolutely on both acounts and credit where it's due for Boyle. Here's a good fan article on that very subject, from the STV site. Don't know if it's been posted elsewhere.

    Signing #7

Official sites doon. I can only see his napper on facebook. And what a fuckin typically excellent napper courtesy of Gannon.

    Yesterdays Chants

Yer whole post made perfect sense but that bit in particular is a brilliant idea.

    Yesterdays Chants

The context isn't the same. I think your example can pass as shite playground patter directed at a group of supporters. The intensity and venom directed at one man turns it into a very personal attack and that's what people have found so shocking.
  14. It really is as simple as that.
  15. Sorry to start another thread on this but I'm looking for conformation to show some pals of mine that yesterdays chants have been generally condemned by the 'well support. I'm not talking about the alleged 'fneineaein' ones because it appears that's a figment of media wishful thinking. Rammies and petty name calling should maybe be kept in the other thread. Show of hands please.
  16. What's everyones views on necrophilia?

    Sponsor

So ye would rather ride Craigan then?
  18. No real surprise when you consider the travelling the support have done in the last 2 months as well as the 3 home European ties which were an expense on top of season tickets. True it might be another biggy when you consider the circumstances but I think a lot of people will see this as one they can afford to miss. Add that to the fact that it's near the end of the month and everyone is skint.

    Out of Favour?

What a strange way to announce our entry into the co-op cup.

    In's And Out's

He's not actually agreed to it yet though has he? I think Gannon will be quite influential in convincing the younger guys to stay. I really like how Gannon talks about the club with the future in mind, and I'm not talking 2 seasons. He's mentioned aspirations for the club 4 or 5 years down the line on a number of occassions I imagine a lot of the younger players might want to be part of that.
  21. Anyone who thinks a quick rinse under warm water is 'washing' their hands of wee tiny beasties is seriously misinformed. Washing without soap actually just makes yer hands a nice warm damp spot for germs to settle. And see when the big troughs flush, that fires an explosion of microbes into the air. Oh, and see that smell of shite when ye fart? That's airborne shite particles going up yer nose. We come out these places covered in shite and piss whether we like it or not so anyone moaning that the taps don't work has relying on them for nothing but a false sense of security. I'm maybe a bit biased mind you, considering I love a bit of the scat and watersports. Might explain why I spend more time hanging around in the toilets than watching the game.
  22. Missed the game yesterday but good to see Craigan getting praise from Gannon.... ....Stephen Craigan who responded well to last week. “I thought he was tired after International game but today he looked more like the player who marshalled the defence against Steaua. I have called for players like him to lead by example and he was immense today and gave us a platform of solidity.”

    Ill Advised

What a pile of pish. Nothing wrong with that article, in fact I'd say it paints him in quite a good light. Ambitious and eager to step out his dad's shadow.
  24. Canny have anyone else in Britain knowing the big secret that scottish football does exist outwith the Old Firm.
