Fair enough dishing out abuse an opposition player because he plays with accies or has commited some sort of horrific foul in the past against one of our players or whatever, but the sectarian abuse that kid, and lets remember that folks he is just a kid, was getting on saturday was a fucking disgrace. The shouts of "you're in the wrong fucking country" were bang out of order. A couple of folk have touched on this already but the people that should be booed are the fucking diddy coaches who said he wasn't good enough for Scotland when he is quite clearly a cracking player with lots of potential. Remember as well mcgeady was in the same boat, now how can these coaches say that mcgeady and mccarthy aren't good enough for Scotland yet Kevin Kyle, Paul Devlin and captain Kirk are? What exactly has mccarthy done wrong he got told he wasn't good enough and got offered the chance somewhere else and took it, he chose to play for his second country instead of no country at all, big fucking woop give the kid a break.

The guy could have buggered off to Hearts in the summer, he took us to third in the league giving us European football for the first time in over a decade, he handled himself well in the aftermath of the O'Donnell tragedy and still managed to keep the players in form to get third. It shouldn't be up for debate he is a good manager going through a hard time just now the same as anyone else with any other job and they wouldn't get sacked just for the sheer sake of it. Give him time, let him bring in a few folk in January who look like they can be arsed when they step on the pitch, because some of the guys: Porter, Sutton, McGarry to name but a few have been lacking effort in many games. We wont finish third this year but there is no danger we'll be going down top six still very achievable, stop whingin and get behind the team.

Lets be honest the players aren't up for it and the tactics are wrong. 4-4-2 with Sutton and Porter is ineffective as none of them can win a header even against dross like Simon Mensing, get the ball on the deck and get the three up front with Murphy, Clarkson and Porter right up top. Sutton can take a hike he's murder and has about as much chance of scoring goals as Hitler had of joining his local synagogue.
