I think you'll find it was a club request to SPL after consulting the police ..... the police don't decide the fixture dates.

Watching the match on ESPN just now ....... wonder if the media will focus on the state of the pitch the same way that they did at Fir Park. Pittodrie is as bad if not worse than Fir Park .... it appears to be cutting up a lot more.......

Sadly .....this is the most accurate summing up on this subject. We could leave the exit gates open and we still wouldn't fill Fir Park. Lowering prices for a sustained period will only damage the club income. We have our hard core supporters who pay whatever it takes ......

well here's hoping that attitude and approach continues .... we need as many fans as possible and the stewards and police have enough to worry about without dealing with kids who won't sit down......

He was asking for the fan's to support the club by sitting down when asked by stewards and police and explaining the possible implications for the club if they didn't........ fair play to him ....at least he took the time to speak to the fans. What thanks did he get ? ..... a lighter thrown onto the park ...... really clever !!!!

I fail to see how the police, stewards and local pubs have contributed to this ....... publicans in particular would be stupid not to take the business on offer and rightly so will welcome anyone willing to spend money. Re the police and stewards I'm struggling to see your point. The keeping back of the fans in the main stand was a first I believe and knowing that some of our local constabulary read these posts then perhaps consideration will be given to holding back the south stand next time as well.

Why would you dislike them ? They haven't closed the ticket office and apparently will permit the sale of tickets up until 11.45am .... seems reasonable to me. Last season tickets weren't allowed to be sold on match day so I think progress has been made
