  1. As I said to Frazza I think we should be looking at sites like this one and trying to gain an understanding of the issues raised by fans. I am not sure if the issues at Parkhead were raised (I have attended one meeting since I joined and that was towards the end of last month. It wasn't brought up then - but the last OF game was at the start of November). As Frazzle has said it would be nice to think that people would approach us with their issues , but it doesn't seem like there will be much of that especially from people like yourself who don't believe the Trust has a function. And that is in no way a dig at you as you are very much entitled to have that viewpoint.
  2. I don't agree with that. There are certainly people there who are more than willing to get involved and to try make a difference. As I said in a previous post there certainly has to be more progress and activity by the Trust , but in some cases we are in a no win situation. For example in your post earlier you questioned our need to be at last weeks meeting , however there you pointed out that we don't do anything. Not saying that attending one meeting represents a worthwhile contribution ,but I reckon it is attending the kind of events that we should be attending.
  3. I think I know what you are saying.... Your point is that making efforts to identify issues is not a worthwhile exercise?
  4. I think that is spot on. I do think that we should be more active in identifying moans and groans from websites such as this and where possible try to resolve some of these issues - but would that be seen as trying to justify our existence?
  5. When did you have a problem with the stewards? This is the problem and I hope I am not speaking out of turn when I say that a number of people have deemed the Trust to be inactive and as such complaints are not directed towards the trust. They instead go straight to the club. Hopefully in coming months things can improve - as I say I have just arrived on the scene and at my first meeting I was impressed with the number of ideas that came up - hopefully these can get past the idea stage and progress can be made.
  6. The WellBoys present last Monday put their points across very well and I think the meeting may have represented progress in terms of building contacts with the head stewards , match commander etc. It was also pleasing that some compramises were reached and hopefully over the coming weeks , despite a fair bit of resentment towards the stewards for incidents in the past , the guys there listened to the points of view from the other side and were able to put across their side. I think the officials there will now have a better understanding of the aims of the group. Mon_Da_Well , The Lip69 I am new to the trust and I must say I was very much of the opinion that the Trust were not doing enough in the past. Hopefully over time things will improve. We were obviously invited to attend the meeting and I would like to think we helped the Well Boys out due to the fact that as fans who also attend week in week out we understand what they are trying to do and what they bring to improve the atmosphere at Motherwell games. There is a hell of a lot of work to be done in order to improve people's perception of the Trust and in some cases we will be running against a brick wall. As you said 'TheLip69' you don't give a damn and I know you are not alone on that.
  7. Yeah especially with a few thousand extra punters in the ground. Fingers crossed though. Just looking at the draw. Hardly one decent tie!
  8. Decent tie if we can dispose of Inverurie
  9. Thing is though , doesnt seem any point of taking the days off for the replay. Good chance this will happen again!
  10. Sore yin , was really looking forward to the day out.
  11. To be honest Niall I would prefer just sitting at home crying than going to the rugby.
  12. I can see us being back in Daniels in time for Soccer Saturday
  13. Now that the Hearts game is out of the way I am really looking forward to this one - however I've still got a bit of doubt in my mind that it will actually go ahead. Not sure if I'd manage to get time off for the re-arranged game , fingers are crossed.
  14. I liked McGhee's comments , however I still believe that with the opportunity to double his wages (yes I am well aware of Hearts' financial difficulites) there is a good chance that he will move on. If that is the case , get him moved on ASAP - might as well make some money out of the deal. Porter had an excellent first season , however has failed to recapture that form this term. He would be missed but he is not irreplaceable.
  15. Lovely image. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have had plenty of meltit away games , Inverness and Aberdeen being the two biggest days out. Although had a few messy ones at Killie and there may be an upcoming Scottish Cup tie which will run it close.

    Inverurie Game

I fear the damage early on in the week will cause the game to be cancelled. If not I think it will be a case of wearing 1000 layers , I don't think I have felt the weather as cold as I have in the past few days.
  17. Did the mince in your pie go straight to your head? 300 fans?
  18. Played reasonably well , but it was a pretty poor game to be honest. Despite a hat-trick last week , Porter still seems to be lacking that wee edge infront of goal. Hopefully we can take the positives into the Jambos game on Wednesday night. Mon the Well!
  19. Few hundred seems like an educated guess.

  21. I'll dive up tomorrow morning and sort mine. Should have done it when I got my tickets for the cup game.

    Porter

It's ok we will not replace him with anyone unless they are better than what we have. *Wherethefuckisthewallbash*
  23. I have just watched back Saturday's game (feck knows why I punish myself like that) , there are bits in the build up in the tunnel where the Accies players are screaming at each other and seem so up for the game , but our boys are rather quiet. As the game went on their body language just doesn't suggest that they are motivated enough or the ability to win a battle. It is quite depressing to be honest.
  24. No matter how much we try to gloss over this problem , it is a disgrace that the club did not solve the pitch problems over the summer. They have left themselves open to the problem and will now need to deal with the consequences. As a Motherwell fan of course I do not want to see the club suffer , but I do agree with the folk on Pie and Bovril who argue that we have had a fair few chances in the past. We have not learned from last years mistake and should be suitably punished.
