Sending abuse his way on Twitter is plain shitty behavior. As fans we're allowed to vent and complain all day long amongst ourselves, and we don't need to be rational about it or even civil in some cases, but to dish out abuse directly to the player is a whole new level of cuntishness. Questioning our policy is valid. The idea of a head of recruitment should mean that we have consistency in approach while managers change, but we've just watched two managers overhaul the squad from the previous one, so we need to have a serious look at this.

I hope we all enjoyed Theo Bair day. Maybe it will be his only day, maybe he will have others, but now we can all go to sleep knowing we can't sign Theo Bair tomorrow.

We discussed keeping him and couldn't get close to what the Dutch team were offering. I'd also warn against signing one striker for the price of four and hoping he doesn't get injured, suspended or loses form.

An explanation really is needed on the added time screw up (we won't get one). The absolute minimum of 5 minutes could have factored into seedings for other teams as well as us, if either we or east fife scored. Deciding "fuck it, game's done anyway" and wrapping up on exactly 90 was farcical and unprofessional.

Spittal in the front two with Paton taking his spot, and Mugabi in for SoD, and switching with McGinn. As far as outfield goes, we have no spare strikers and obika is injured, so we're pretty much doing what we can do. Would have liked to see Ross again on the right, but McGinn has done a job there before. I assume/hope Bevis is on the right side and not dead center. Ox in for Kelly was always going to happen, Kelly has a year and could well be sold before then, so we need to know what we have.

They showed last weeks game to international subscribers, but it's audio only for us tomorrow too. Elgin also broadcast our game there on ppv, so I'm guessing the issue is technical rather than legal.

That sucks. We have the tech to show home games and we were able to show it last week, so can't be a capability or legal thing. The worst thing about our streams is the bloody audio too.

I think he would have got more of a chance if he wasn't frequently injured. His opportunity was probably there when Hammel was manager but he was rarely fit to take advantage of it. He had some decent games, and had the knack of coming up with goals, but we'd essentially have to change our system to accommodate him, and our form last season under kettlewell was so good that changing the shape would have been folly.

I like these summary videos, they're well put together. Some standard highlights would be nice to go along with it though. I'd have had Davor running about getting everyone's name wrong, and them getting his spot on. I was definitely a syllable short in my attempt, so the video worked in that regard.

I thought he was up next year too, when someone mentioned it on p&b I had to check the website. Unless he absolutely tears it up, i doubt we ever see him back.

FYI - Teirney is under contract until June 2025.

I mean someone who we see as our first choice striker and regarded as our best signing of the summer. I don't think that where the player comes from matters in that distinction.

Who doesn't? Probably the 2 hardest types of player to find, and usually the most expensive.

Spittal and Slattery were both good. I went with spittal. No one was particularly bad, were still disjointed and you could tell who missed pre season.
