  1. Yep, McHugh knew what he was doing, Carson didn't.
  2. Null for me since I only had mixlr to to on, but it did sound like fisher, tanner and frear had good games. The way we're going, I think we could finish the season with every outfield player scoring and everyone winning motm on here. Especially if we lose moult in January.
  3. Motherwell: Carson, Tait, Hartley, Bigirimana, McHugh, Frear, Bowman, Fisher, Dunne, Kipré, Tanner Motherwell subs: Griffiths, Hammell, Grimshaw, Cadden, Moult, Rose, Petravicius
  4. I forgot the Morelos wwe style gut punch. Bret Hart would have been proud of that. Hartley did go right through him on the halfway line after that.
  5. We've done a great job of handling this carry on, but I'm sure this is just the start of the dirty tricks leading up to the final, our our next game against Rangers. It's a damn shame that on this country the underdog story isn't welcome unless it is about Celtic against some European giant or The Rangers "journey".
  6. I'd give baraclough pre-playoffs some love, but I'd agree this is the best one we've done in the YouTube era.
  7. This could be considered another "test" for this team, will they suffer from a hangover from Sunday (who would blame them if they did?) or will they be able to get straight back to league business with the same endeavor they've been showing? I like my left wingers, so I'm looking for any excuse to get frear back in, but tait has done nothing to deserve getting dropped.
  8. I'd assume that Kipre gets a rest, with either hammel coming in or mchugh stepping back. I'd like to see Frear and Bigi come in as well. I think it is clear that Sunday's team is our first XI, but I don't think we can sustain our style of play without some occasional rotation.
  9. I just about forgot anaw. Think we'll make a couple of changes for this one.
  10. The fact is that the vast majority of our support in the final won't be society members or season ticket holders, which is fine, I get that. I think the society is about 2200, and STs are about 3000ish. We're going to have 10k+ at the final, so this is a massive opportunity. If we went with the message that only society members/st holders would be guaranteed a ticket, then we could make a decent sum just from the one off sign ups we get from folk making sure that they can get a ticket.
  11. Not the greatest quality, maybe someone can find better.
  12. I think this all comes down to something hat was said in one of the articles over the weekend, is that the club knows what it is, and embraces it. We've brought in a manager and players who know they can use the club to further their careers, but they have to earn it and be respectful of the club in the meantime. We made a big point of recruiting the right characters, and its paying off.
  13. And while I'm on YouTube, here's the van der Gaag one
  14. In person? Van Der Gaag against dunfermline, was a huge moment at the time which all but secured our survival. Juke's against hibs was also some finish. Another quality finish worth a shout is the Jim Hamilton volley against Celtic. I'd put O'Neil's top out of all goals I've seen us score full stop.

    Rangers Motm

No excuse, bigi played with aids/Ebola/captain trips.
  16. Just catching up with the online pants-wetting. It is beautiful. The best I've seen is that the ref abandoned his duty of care by not doing something about the guy who nosed bowmans arm. I seem to recall that rangers went on attack and eventually won a corner while he was checking how much of his face was still attached. I'm sure they could have put the ball out of play. As had already been said, moult got an equally bad one, and instead of being a pussy about it he came back on, blasted the ref, then got it right round them. Morelos also hit hartley with a gut punch, their midfielders forgot they had a game today, and they squandered a bunch of sitters, so I'd put the ref way down the list as the cause of their woes.

    Rangers Motm

Picked Carson. His assuredness (if it's not a word I'm claiming it) got us through some scary spells, and his distribution was excellent. Seeing a keeper come out and pluck the ball from the air is a welcome change from what we've had in recent years. Mchugh had a really good game too, which was great to see. Didn't think bowman deserved more than a yellow from the game, as strikers go up like that all the time, but hartley was lucky after his retaliatory halving of Morelos (who also should have been off) Shame that this was Kipre's worst game, but he's still a wean.
  18. Battered them again (literally). What a bunch of shitebags they are. Have Rose and McHugh refurned Jack and Dorrans to their families yet? Fuckin love Trevor Carson, but don't think his dad does anymore.
  19. Kipre playing terribly, but denied a goal by Ryan jack on the line, even though he shat himself and tried to get out the way of it. Hartley and Dunne both lucky to still be on. Somehow still level, hoping for some of the customary Robbo half time tactics.
  20. The manager mentioned in yesterday's interview that we're talking to hartley about something more permanent, which would be amazing if we could pull it off. However, it was also mentioned that we're talking others, so I was wondering who that would be. From the first team, we know that moult, bowman and rose are out of contract in the summer, maybe frear? There's also Adam livingstone in he u20s who there was a lot of talk about last week. Robbo has talked up rose since day one, and he's definitely catching on, so I think he'll be the next to extend.
  21. Maybe we're spending the moult money on these extensions, which I don't really disagree with.
  22. Maybe it's just really windy there?
