  1. Four weeks ago Derek Weir was still CEO as I’m sure you know. Andrew had left a week prior so Jay may have made a simple mistake.
  2. To put this into context, Nationwide recently agreed a deal to buy Virgin Money. I'm pretty sure it will have been their executive board, or a firm contracted by them who will have led negotiations before taking a deal back to the wider board for approval. All that happens before VM shareholders will have known anything about it. This suggests that the way our situation is being handled is not unusual
  3. The five on the executive board were the current three (McMahon, Dickie and Feeley). Other two were CEO (burrows then Weir) and Andrew Wilson, who have now stepped away. i’m pretty sure the 5 Jay references was at the time of his posting.
  4. Slavia Prague also drawn at home potentially on the same night which won’t happen. If that’s the case, one game will need to move.
  5. Here’s the stats to show you up. A very strange hill to die on btw… https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=15230&season_id=137
  6. Can you give clear examples of what optics and poor decision making AB has been guilty of? Not a criticism of you, just a question.
  7. If only we would use the proper colours more. I’ve noticed more often now that we’re using single coloured crests on a lot of strips and training kit.
  8. On that basis, we’ll have nothing to worry about given we’re not under an SNP controlled council then? Why is it not a good sign then in your opinion?
  9. Aberdeen allowed almost 25% capacity for their euro tie next week.

    AndyP

Really sad news, I’ve known Andy for years going back to the days of the supporter’s buses.
  11. The low gradient of the stand may make it difficult to have a readable wording on the amber section. Although I do agree with your point on alternating the colours, that puts it out of line with the Cooper and South stands
  12. The centre section is Amber to match the other newer stands. Not sure if there will be claret wording to it
  13. That was a training top for that season and had to be used due to our clashes against Partick I think. It was similar to the England national shirt at the time.
  14. Although both the Accies and St Johnstone games were absolute shit shows, there’s a bit of mitigation in each of them that I’m willing to cut GA some slack on. Obviously we started poorly against Hamilton but played a large chunk of the game with 10 men. I didn’t realise until today that St Johnstone have won 7 out of their last 12, only losing to the OF. Given that run of form and our very much patchwork team, we were always going to struggle. Taking both of those games out of the equation we have more than competed in every other game since GA came in and look like a totally different team from the turn of the year.
  15. Maybe different if you’re the home team then
  16. There is a Covid protocol that says only playing members of squad and required officials go to matches. Doesn’t explain Morelos’ appearance at ibrox a few weeks ago mind you...
  17. We didn’t but don’t let that get in your way
  18. I’m sure if you go back over a year on this board, there will be plenty examples of Johnson, Frear, etc being classed as not good enough. just because they’re scoring goals elsewhere does not make them any better than they were.
  19. Some mount of revisionism in this thread over the last 24 hours...
  20. If we’re ignoring the games we should be winning, can we also ignore the games we expect to be beaten in? Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, HBS.... If they aren’t any better, there will be plenty who will get sick into them in the same way current players are getting. What then?!?
  21. The same posters on this forum who moan about us signing people from down south and not from Scottish teams, will be the same ones moaning about us signing someone from a Scottish club. I'm all for giving our youth a chance but what margin of error will they have in a team lacking in confidence quite badly at the moment? As soon as any mistakes are made, they’ll be savaged by the usual suspects here in no time. Crawford at least has first team games under his belt at a level neither Cornelius and Semple have so far
  22. BT have no interest in the rights as their central deal only takes effect from The group stages of the EL. In qualifying, the home side is always in control of the sale of live rights. Coleraine will have made money from this in the same way that we made money last round.
  23. Sure I’ve read in Q&A documents somewhere that it is only valid in UK and Ireland
