Saw View from the terrace last night and in between the annoying facial expressions and gestures that they do every week they did bring up a really good point at Euro 2024.  Looking like Patterson and Hickey will miss out so Max Johnston a good shout for right wing back, would definitely put him in ahead of Ralston

Clarke will probably pick some jobber from English leagues one.

Goss, where is he,???. Cornelius, aye right, furlong, add Gent, well better, Butcher, slow last season, slower than normal this, if you can't make an argument, stop posting!!!!!.

Goss is at astereas tripolis in Greece where he has made ten appearances this season with no goals scored.

Me and my dad often talk about going to the Cowdenbeath game. The 3-2 comeback against Celtic in the 3rd round probably fired everyone up, and that team could easily have beaten anyone on their day - losing those 2 semis was an education on being a Motherwell fan.

It was an education on corrupt referee's.

The two points yes, extra cash no, apart from us winning we also needed Aberdeen to beat Dundee which never happened, so it's 7th place prize money at best this season.

The point I was making was  to finish as high as possible in the bottom six where there is also a difference in prize money . Every penny counts.

I don't think anyone will ever confuse you for that. Happy? Very rarely. Clapper? I doubt you clap much at Fir Park.

So would I, if they're good enough. Even once we're mathematically safe, we should push to finish as high up the table as possible. The difference between finishing 7th and 9th could be something like £125,000.

Considering we're pushing for outside investment and needing cash, that money should be a priority.

That clown Shaw's miss not only cost us another two points but potentially some much needed cash as well .

Agreed, I quite enjoyed the game, despite it being played in a hurricane. Even Collum didn't manage to ruin it completely.

Amazingly , Collum was quite decent yesterday. I never thought I would ever say that about him.

I remember the Record back in the day when, even if I didn't agree with what they posted, they had actual journalists writing the content and reporting the stories.

It's a shadow of the publication it once was.

All print news outlets are the same now, not worth reading.

I guessed that might be the case when I saw the forecast at the beginning of the week. I hope they do the decent thing and call it off on Friday rather than wait until people start travelling.

The fans are the last thing they care about.

My Starting 11 V St Mirren prediction

    Liam Kelly GK

    Stephen O’Donnell at LB

    Adam Devine at RB

    Dan Casey CB
    Bevis Mugabi CB

    Shane Blaney  CB

    Davor in midfield

    Spittal Attacking Mid

    Bair and Vale up top

Think Miller will be on be bench due to slight injury

    That's only 10 players

Sorry but for me that's pish, Clarke is too loyal to players who should have been binned long ago, or playing guys like Gunn who wanted feck all to do with Scotland and only came grovelling back when it was obvious he was getting nowhere near the England team.

Now we have Shankland scoring for fun this season getting dropped after 1 game, so it's not good man management but just bad coaching.

    Absolutely spot on .

Good luck to the lad, but a few of us have said that for some time. He couldn't get a game for Stenhousemuir whilst on loan. I suppose today, we wanted a striker on the bench and he fitted that criterion.

Better than oli Shaw I suppose.

Get VAR so far to fuck. It is absolutely ruining football.

Var didn't lose us that game today. It didn't help but neither did players who are slow of thought and movement , can't pass a ball to a teammate, can't tackle properly  , not to mention a poor team selection and tactics and substitutions. We could still be playing and still won't have scored a goal.

I did think about him. He's a big lad with intimidating presence at 6-4, and can command his box. Has proved to be a good loan deal for Rossco. He's saved them a few goals. Doubt if we could afford him on loan though.

On another tack, and I've seen it mentioned elsewhere, does anyone think that Sam Nicholson was brought in as a possible long term replacement for Blair Spittal, who will almost certainly leave.

We won't know if we could afford him until we ask, Fulham might be happy to loan him out again.

That name popped into my head as well. The thing is that there are bound to be a few good keepers not getting first team football, it's the nature of the position. Remember signing Carson and Gillespie in successive summers? George doesn't strike me as a terrible keeper but there may be better options out there...

The Ross county goalie wickens is on loan from Fulham looks a good keeper, we should try and get him next season.

No. It would be up to the Society as a whole to vote on the matter. The Society owns the shares not the individual. We are all "members" of the Society.

It was the 19% I was referring to , surely that's got nothing to do with the well society?
