Anyone any idea where Mccall is? Not in dug out

Just watched it and again tells us what all saw for ourselves. Where are the explanation for lack of effort and desire and where is he taking the blame and telling us what he will do to change it?

When we signed Law in the summer the noises made were that he wouldn't be ready for the first team and would be a squad player to start. He has started in just about every pre-season and competitive game and I'm seriously struggling to see what he brings to the team. As mentioned in another thread, it's clear that Faddy wasn't asking for a lot of money and therefore the obvious conclusion to draw is that Faddy's wage was spent partly on Law. So even though Faddy had long injury problems and lack of form last season what is it that Law is giving us that Faddy wouldn't have? Even the way Faddy was last season, at least other teams were wary of him and that left space for others, right now other teams are happy to give Law 40-50 yards as they know he can't do anything to hurt them. Discuss!

Is he off to Palace or to a championship club? Given Cardiff approached Hartley, I'd be amazed if McCall wasn't looked at.

I missed the ICT game (blessing I know) but I actually thought we were ok today. We didn't offer anything much going forward. I liked O'Brien and thought Lawson had a decent game and will improve when fit. Neither team looked like scoring till they did. Ojamma is trying too hard as he did when he first joined but I think he'll come good. Ainsworth was better also. I'd like to see Law drop out as think too much is being expected and hasn't adapted to this level. We would be better balanced with Vigurs back in his place.

For me it was Erwin easily. Showed good touch and energy. Always keen to get involved, chasing down and good movement off the ball. Deserved his goal.Mention to Angol and Kerr who settled after dodgy start.McManus and Las struggled badly.

For me Cummins did well when he came in during crisis times in his first season. He then had a chance last season and didn't take it. Don't have the stats but i'd love to compare to Hutchy who burst through and then vanished for some time (injury, etc) and was on the verge of a loan to Ayr before finally getting in and getting a real run. Cummins for me, hasn't had enough of an opportunity to pass full judgement. Not saying he will make it but some of the comments on here are very harsh.

Reading this board this morning has not been enjoyable... I agree with most of what has been said in terms of this is wrong on the park and that is wrong off the park, but where is anyone offering solutions? And I mean realistic ones - getting rid of McCall isn't one! What model should we be looking at? How should we re-structure off the park in terms of admin, youth, scouting, etc - is there another club out there that we can learn from? This is not a new thing, we've been best of the rest for 3 years and yet crowds continue to be poor meaning revenue coming in is poor, so what is the answer? We'd all love to see more youth coming through taking their chance and being sold on - would that increase crowds if it meant we were bottom 6 for 2/3 years - I doubt it. What do we as fans expect from the club? - What's done is now gone - but what do you think the club should look like in 10 years - not next summer?

Faddy training with Partick. Hope he gets fixed up but would be strange to see him line up against us at Fir Park

I'm struggling to understand how the club as a whole work so hard 9/10 months to get in to Europe and then do absolutely nothing to get ready for it. Extreme lack if fitness was very evident tonight for too many players. Their number 10 had some nice touches but god he even made me look slim!

First pen was a hard shot that hit Lasley's hand, touch unlucky. Second one in injury time was a scramble in our box with 2 Well players and one of their's on the ground trying to get to ball. Ref gave it for holding back, didn't look like one to me.

Just read a quote from SMC in the Record and he was unhappy at going in to the Euro game with so little friendly action. Do him and his team not have a say in / sort the schedule? Hopefully we get through over the 2 legs but still a decent gap to the start of the league and no more games announced, so what's the issue?

Very happy with that. Doesn't strike me as someone who would pen the deal without knowing others will be doing the same.

On twitter we sold 800 tickets by close today. Could be a full house and some atmosphere.

I'd go with Vigurs. Accept he seemed slow to get going but given it was mostly a change of position from what he played at County, I think that's understandable. The levels he has reached in the last 2-3 months give me great hope going forward.
