  1. Was thinking maybe in time for the home game against Aberdeen.
  2. It's a massive challenge for the board to get more people in the ground. For me they've tried lots of things and we haven't yet found the solution. I know they have given away a number of free tickets to schools etc for this weekend so will be interesting to see what the crowd is. It coudl be over 5000 but that won't mean extra revenue coming in. I think McCall and the team are doing all they can on the pitch - they can't do any more league wise!
  3. So we keep him to the end of the season to keep him on his toes and get consistent performances and then we can't match the offers he gets as a result of said performances, we're back to re-building a team again come the summer. if we can get him signed up for 18 months and give us a little protection. With current contracts running down we don't need to be adding another member of teh 1st eleven to the replace in summer list.

I went for young Dan. At times he had nothing to do but he was always switched on. To play with such control and confidence, knowing it was probably his last for the club was great. For me the wee man has quite possibly been the catalyst for our season and would love him to stay.
  5. Really difficult team to call. Hutchie will come back and although Carsy did well at RB for me you've got to put Ramsden out there. Catsu moves in to the middle of the park and then it's a call as to drop Angol or Vigurs - not one i'd like to make. Faddy has to stay in after Firhill. Sutty for Anier makes sense.
  6. Winner announced on twitter this morning, with apologies for delay.
  7. See that Sheffield Utd have just sent Lyle Taylor on loan to Partick, so would guess even less likley that Murph would be allowed out. Also really glad we faced Partick before they had Taylor he scored buckets for Falkirk last season and will do well for them.
  8. Great result and amazing to be up to 2nd. Would love to see us kick on against Thistle as Inverness play Celtic and then Utd play Aberdeen next week! Wonder what our squad will be like for the weekend as I'm sure Hutch starts a suspension so hoping big Mick is back.
  9. I'd like to keep both, but if we had to lose 1 I'd say that we could cope without Anier as Moore looks ready to step in. Ainsworth showed things yesterday that nobody else has been able to show from the right hand side.
  10. I'd love to see us have the guts to forget about 'success' for this season and start to trully blood the younger guys. United were very good on Saturday with a team of kids who are comparible age wise to our youngsters but their's have much more first team experience. Moore has looked very good when he's had the chance and I like the look of big Erwin. Let's see what else we've got and bring through the core of a new first team squad at once in the first team rather than in the 20's where they are mostly annonymous to the fans. Lets get thim in a create hype about how good our youngsters are!!! United went through a spell of buying in experience and having some relative success but it wasn't moving them forward, they bit the bullet and knew they would have a few seasons of pain and now are strating to see what could be possible. Time for a drastic change of ethos at our club.
  11. Fenlon axed by Hibs - does this make things easier or more difficult for Sunday?
  12. Just watched McCall's interview on MFC TV and sure he was gutted, but for me to much focus on the early goal that was chopped off. Playing against a team with 10 men for 77 mins, we should have been able to break them down. McCall knows what a big week this was for our season, a chance to go clear in 2nd in the league and get to a cup semi abd he's made some real howlers. Decision to take off Lawson and not Carswell is very strange. Surely he brought Lawson here as last season he sat in the County midfield and sprayed the passes? Sure in the first half he was sometimes taking too long but surely you tell him to speed up. In the second hald it took far too long for us to shift the ball across the park to our spare man and that allowed them to re-group. Some real soul searching needed by the manager, the team and even the fans. Maybe we expect too much as given the turn over of players in the summer we probably thought we'd be in the bottim six and re-building. The squad we have this season cannot play the same shape or style as last year and we can't keep trying to make that happen. Left there last night thinking enough is enough and had the real hump with McCall, but in the cold morning light I'll still be back on Sunday and we'll all still be there year after year!
  13. Celtic travel to Barcelona the Wednesday after this match - right there is the reason for the potential switch!
  14. Just listened to McCall's interview on BBC after the game. He was asked about Hollis and Faddy for this game and said no chance. What is Faddy's injury? I thought I'd read somewhere he had recovered and was available for the St J game?
  15. Would even have been better to gather it and concede free kick!
  16. McCall to blame without a doubt. Changed formation back to the shite that saw us have a pish start to the season it just doesn't work. Can't play 4 central midfielders. McHugh is a waste of a jersey but wasn't the only one.
  17. Thought Ramsden was exposed a lot in the first half when Faddy didn't track back. Funny thing was in second half Ainsworth didn't always track back but County were obviously worried by his pace and didn't push on as much.Nice touch from County fans singing for Lawson.
  18. 4/1 to win a national cup competition when we haven't even kicked a ball in it yet - nothing like some pressure on the team!
  19. See that Dylan McGeouch has been talking about wanting to stay at Celtic and fight for first team place, so that's another possible to score off the list.
  20. Not a great performance but its 3 points. We look short of fitness and aren't moving the ball quickly enough. Anier worked very hard and his run out to the wing created space for the goal. Faddy had a few chances but at least this week he was getting in to the right areas.
  21. The defence is the problem. Thought we would be solid with McManus but we look anything but. Where were we cut one, through middle or out wide?

    Aberdeen 11/08/13

Only 2 with pass marks for me were Hollis and Anier. Went for Hollis just because he came through despite lots of stick from his own fans.
  23. Right now we are carrying a few and a team like us can't do that. Thought Vigurs placed some good passes from centre mid but we really missed Lawson sitting in front of the back four. McCall needs to fund his best shape really quickly as 4-4-2 with no pace isn't working. We all love Faddy and hopefully he'll come good soon.
  24. Depending how things work out at Ibrox the McCall link would be very obvious. I'd say we cross that bridge when it comes. I'm happy Stu is still here but won't be surprised if he's not here come the end of the season - we'll just get on with it.
  25. Ex-Bradford winger Zavon Hines, seems obvious link from pish web-site but wonder if any truth.
