  1. Darragh O'Connor mentioned on twitter his time at the club has came to an end.
  2. I see the full Tommy McLean stand is back open. The middle section of the top tier has been refitted with new Amber seats. Hopefully it remains that way after we take the three points today.
  3. Surprised to see Lamie in the lineup against his future side given their fight for survival and at left back. I see Dundee have fielded a young goalie who is making his first start, they don't have a recognised striker starting either, what's the worst that can happen here. Id take the three points anyway we can but I would love to pump them just to return the favour from McGhee last game with us when Marcus Haber ran the show lol.
  4. The games on BBC Alba at 6pm, thought it might be worth mentioning for anyone who couldn't make it along today.
  5. Yeah that was my thoughts as well, pictures I have seen suggest he was out the box. Sadly however Carroll was slow to react and the County player was always going to go down in those circumstances. You're getting tugged back with an arm around your neck but you manage to dive forward lol, it'll never change now but I always find it funny when refs fall for that. Efford was getting pulled back right at the death in the box, I always find that consistency frustrating. Ach well Dundee next, we have already lost to them twice this season, tricky fixture with McGhee at the helm.
  6. Pj Morrison loaned out to Alloa.
  7. Liam Polworth joins Dunfermline on loan from Killie.
  8. No he has another year on his deal. From the original list I wouldn't be surprised if all ten players move on. Lamie is obviously away for sure and Shaw will return to Celtic. By all accounts we must think highly of PJ Morrison as he has been around for what seems like an age, I'm sure he'll want to kick on, with Fox recently signing a contract extension will he want to stay and be third choice again. When Grimshaw returned from illness he was used frequently in the team but he has drifted in and out of the squad recently. It was mentioned a few weeks back that O'Hara had a few offers on the table from other clubs, this will likely be the same come the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised if Donnelly is offered a contract extension but his injury record is a concern. O'Conner seems to be doing alright at QOTS so he is another who might get offered another year or so.
  9. 1959/60 brought a series of fruitful results against them. Obviously we only played them twice in the league but we also played them twice in the League Cup and won 4 out of 4 ties. https://www.motherwellnet.com/database/head-2-head/scottish-premiership-football-league-clubs/rangers/
  10. Early warning. Morelos shot off the bar.
  11. In fairness to the guy in the three games he has started we have won them all, one being against Annan of course and the others being league wins over Dundee and Livi. I might be wrong but most of his sub appearances seem to come late in games when he has little or no time to make an impact. He certainly helped turn the tide in the Morton cup tie. I'm sure he'll be away come the summer.
  12. Derek Adams is reappointed the Morecambe manager after Robinsons departure.
  13. TBF that's generally always the case when the Old Firm come calling, all the other clubs generally need a degree of luck to get over the line. I thought United were well worthy of the 1-0 HT lead on Sunday but as you say it was one way traffic in the second half and they were fortunate with the penalty incidents, its not like Mr Madden to miss them considering what he has given against us in recent times. Obviously it would be no surprise to come away empty handed as per, they're however playing three fixtures in the space of 6 days so you'll imagine they will rotate a bit.
  14. Rangers easily dispatched Hearts and Hibs at Ibrox recently, Dundee United defended well against them on Sunday with the second half in particular being one way traffic. Frustratingly its seldom they slip up twice domestically these days to teams out with Celtic, I'm hoping their European tie goes the full distance on Thursday night in hope that they might be knackered come Sunday. I would be delighted if we can get anything from this game, we done well enough at Ibrox earlier in the season. Has anything been mentioned about Van Veen's injury? Also Solholm and Efford were struggling a bit at the weekend before being taken off.
  15. Stephen Robinson confirmed as manager of St Mirren.
  16. Yeah you can include the St Mirren game as well as that was a late pitch inspection. Funnily enough I'm sure Stephen Glass said pre match last week that his side wouldn't be able to pass the ball on the deck as they would like too due to the pitch and that was before the monsoon hit.
  17. Yeah agree regarding Hayes tackle, horrible challenge, he also put in a naughty one last week as well in the first half. He done Walsh a peach pretending he was seriously injured and getting the stretcher on only to reappear fine in the second half. Thankfully we won last week but they have enjoyed the rub of the green decision wise in the last week or so against us and St Johnstone.
  18. Great free kick by Van Veen at the end, that and the Lewis clearance you kinda start to feel its not going to be your day as we aren't getting that wee break.
  19. The games on BBC Alba at 6pm later incase anyone's not at the game.
  20. Aberdeen fans ensconced in the top tier today, Craig Broon style tactics. I see we have reinforced the barrier at the away section. Great to see we're starting the same 11 today, hopefully they can replicate the performance from last week.
