I think our selling point to these guys is that if you believe in your ability then we can put you in the shop window, give you regular first team games and TV exposure. You then stand more chance of a better move in 18-24 months time, eg Ruddy, Randolph, McCormack etc.
If, as some people are saying that Rangers took over Dundee Uniteds fixtures then I assume they will be predicted to finish in the bottom 6. If they finish top 6 then the theoretical possibility could exist where they could have an uneven split of home/away games. They could also end up playing Celtic 3 times away. Do you think that'll happen, not in a million years. The SPFL will rearrange everyone's fixtures to make sure the big two aren't inconvenienced.
I was as pissed off as anyone when McGhee left but time heals, he's also said many good things about us in his time away. I think he realised how good a job he had here. I remember a few months back all the negative comments when it was first suggested Pearson would come back, now he's the fans favourite.
From my vantage point in the cooper stand it appeared that everyone in the East we're going to comply with the instructions and stay put. After a few seconds, the first person to break through was a girl coming from the Cooper end of the East stand, she was quickly followed by a few kids and then more from the Bois end. To be fair, the Bois seemed to be abiding by the instructions until there was already dozens on the pitch.
