  1. I believe we can do this. With 17,000 fans decked out in claret and amber and singing at the top of their lungs. We need new heroes. I believe....
  2. John Boyle is a legend, no doubt about it. His business decisions saved our Club and he gave and still gives 100% to his/our team. We owe him and we won't forget his contributions financially and as a supporter. John Boyle, thank you.!
  3. Poor 1st half performance but somehow not unexpected after the recent trouncing.
  4. Thanks got it now. I was looking for the link BEFORE I set the proxy so it wasn't there, but since I set it I see the links. Anyways, mon yeeeeeeee 'Well.
  5. :whistling:I can't find the BBC commentary link again! Why is it awkward to find..... Thank you.
  6. Hi Dave. I have a paid UK proxy through Foxy Proxy, costs about $11.00 Canadian a month which I subscribe to only during the football season. I am certain you know about proxy servers so I won't bore you with the limited knowledge I have but will say it works great because I get all the BBC Sportscene highlights and of course all game commentary and the odd BBC Scotland live game. Just something you might consider, if you have not already, which I expect you have.
  7. It was a great interview, he's just class all the way.
  8. Isn't it great to realize you are a Motherwell fan . Makes me remember my first time seeing the claret and amber (with white shorts) and falling in love with this football club.
  9. Excellent 3 points. Well done Stuart McCall, the players and the fans. BTW does anybody think Casagolda will get a full game before the end of the season?
  10. Oh come on, he certainly did not compliment him, that is obvious from the video.
  11. Another very good post Ladywelltoi. Can't help think though, in retrospect (although I wasn't one) how the Scottish public drooled over Craig Brown's appointment as Scotland manager, considering he was, and I'll say it again, a schoolteacher. What's going on now behind the scenes goes on in corporate places of work all the time. I think there is far too much attention paid to it. The club screwed up when they didn't have him sign a contract. Brown left when he said he wasn't. Boyle said something in the public eye he probably shouldn't have. Everybody loses. We need to get over this and move on.
  12. I have to laugh though. When he was appointed Scotland manager the vast majority were in favour of the appointment. He was a school teacher for god's sakes. Tell you this, if I had been negative towards his appointment as Scotland manager at the time I would have been in the wrong 99.9%. It's OK looking back, but I think this vendetta has gone on long enough. Never wanted Brown as manager in the first place but I was wrong because he did a very good job, way better than I thought (because of the above). This does not do anyone any good continuing this, especially now Boyle got involved. Time to leave the man alone and get on with it, it's becoming childish, stupid and quite frankly annoying.
  13. At this time I have no conviction nor reason to believe we will finish in the top six. Our recent league form has been poor to say the least and I don't really see any reason for improvement, so I voted no, but hope I am wrong.
  14. Thanks to all the 'Well fans who traveled to Dundee and made a great atmosphere while really getting behind the team. Well done all of you.
  15. With the time difference and clock change here just caught the last ten minutes of commentary. Sounded like a really good cup tie and we were certainly going for it in extra time.
  16. Same here using Firefox. It was fine last week!
  17. Click on the box that says "My Prefs" beside the shoutbox and something will come up to allow you to change your preferences like disable it for now or whatever.
  18. Ooops, it was the Shout Box I meant, thanks for clarifying that and yes I see you can turn it off. Rightyo. What do others think about its placement on the forum though? Top or bottom ( not in the biblical sense).
  19. I wonder if it would be best to move it to the bottom of the forum or the home page? It's just that as soon as you log in you are "distracted" by the comments and one I saw earlier was a bit over the top so it might not be the best place for wee Johnny's mum to see when he logs in.
