He was sitting next to Bill Rayside (ex coach) now at Celtic at the Steau game. There should be another couple players also making the 1st team squad soon. Hopefully get them signed up on longer contracts, before other teams start coming in for them.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion..yes, but at no time did i make reference to the poster being a bad person. Expressing an opinion is 1 thing, but slandering a young player is a totally different thing all together. Gav did indeed state that he was a good player, we can all see the potential he has. But he has never stated the facts that make him think that Slane is a bigheaded fanny? Also think he will be a MFC player for a couple more years at least.

I take it you know the boy in person then? Cos the above statement is total BOLLOCKS. He is 1 of the quietest boys at the club and is also very shy. He is the joker in the pack and has been like that since he came to the club at 11years old. He always has a smile on his face and is no way big headed. So instead of slating the boy, give him some support. He is going to be a star if he keeps progressing the way he has so far, hopefully we will see that at Motherwell over the next 3 or 4 yrs, then he moves down south, and we get some serious money for him.

Under 19`s lost 2-1 against Sunderland

Under 19`s played yesterday at Dalziel against 1st players that are not starting. 1st teamers..... Fraser (played really poor) Smith, Page, Halsmann, Fitzpatrick, McPake, Lasley, McGarry, Murphy, Archdeacon, McHugh. (halsmann & Mchugh are still 19`s) They gave the 19`s the run around. Game unded up 6-2. 19`s look as if they could to be in for a hard season. The whole of the defence has been changed & is severely weaker than last year. On a positive note, the midfield and forward line is still strong, with meechan(scotland under 19) , innes, pollock(scotland under 17) & martin all in midfield and up front we have McHugh (scotland 19) & Lawless (scotland 19). So if the defence can improve , then could be a good season. Think we may see some of these boys being given a run in the 1st team within the next 12 months.

Does it really matter what team he supports. He has been with Motherwell since 11 years old and loves playing for the Well. The boy will move on, but hopefully after 2 or 3 yrs in the Well 1st team. If he continues to mature & play the way he has been the last 18months, the SPL will not be big enough for him.

Under 12`s are playing for 7th/8th place in the cup today at 10am Under 14`s are playing in the Plate final today at 1.30pm

Lost the final 4-1, but came home with the Player of the Tournament.... Steven Lawless. Well done to all the boys and hopefully a successful season to look forward to now.

He simply didn`t have the balls to play the boys. Especially around xmas period.

Went to 90% the 19`s games last year & about 50% of the reserves. The 19`s play at shotts, & Dalziel and the reserves play at Cremery Park Bathgate, but sometimes depending on the weather both will play wherever available. Best game i seen last year was the cup game against Rangers at Fir Park (lost 4-3). 19`s only play at FP in cup. 99% of the reserve/19`s are free, sometimes will ask for £1 donation to get into cup games. Would certainly recommend coming along to watch the boys who are coming through. Personally i think the 19`s will be a lot weaker this year, if Slane, McHugh, Saunders are going to be staying with the 1st team, but Youngy knows what he`s doing, so hopefully got some replacements lined up. There are quite a few boys that are doing well with Scotland, so it really bares well (i hope) for the Well over the next few years.
