Thoughts and votes please folks...

Whoever wins this, it's going to be harsh on a number of other players who are all equally deserving.

Lots of candidates.

 

Randolph made some great saves and looked really solid under pressure.

 

Gunning and Hutchinson were rock solid.

 

Hammell was excellent and Murphy and Sutton worked their bollocks off.

 

But I'm going to give it to Lasley. Tremendous performance considering he was doubtful before the match.

 

EDIT: Well I would give it to Lasley if he was included in the poll!

Randolph, Lasley, Jennings, Sutton, Gunning and Forbes (sorry if I missed anyone) were all outstanding but Hutch was class!

Big Sutton got my vote for the two goals scored.

 

The whole team deserve to tbh.

 

Darren Randolph has been the signing of the season. 16 clean sheets and counting.

Gunning and Big Hutch in the middle of the defence were solid.

Hammell and Hateley were solid too.

Forbes, Lasley and Jenno ran the midfield.

Murphy and Humph done a power of running, especially on a heavy pitch.

Shaun Hutchinson, for me, Solid! in defense, and came so close to a goal on a couple of occasions, he will get back into the scoring charts

 

very difficult however as Sutton, Randolph, Gunning, Hammell, Las and Jenno were all superb with the others not all that far behind

Randolph. Pulled off some excellent saves at very important times, his save from Stokes and the two from Commons (late first and late second half) were some of the best I've seen.

Every player on the park was fantastic today..... We showed the faith, and came out on top... Midfield and defence were emmense, Sutton man of the match.

 

Whole team were fantasic.

A really tough decision this, lots of great displays. I thought Hutch, Jenno and Sutty were great but my vote went to captain fantastic Las, who covered every blade of grass.

Went for big Lasley, made some sublime tackles! Mention for Forbes though, got absolutely stuck in. Funny when he had a good chuckle when he got the an ovation from the east stand

Tackling made the difference, Well player right in the face of every Celtic man that had the ball, every time

Lasley for me. Personified the attitude of the whole team today and led by example. Threw himself at everything and never gave up.

 

In saying that, I thought everyone could be proud of their performances today. Best games I've seen in some time from Forbes and Hateley and some wonderful stuff at the back from Hutchinson. That boy's fearless.

Really hard to pick a MOTM for today as Randolph, Lasley, Jennings, Sutton, Hateley, Gunning and Forbes all had great performances. However the standout for me was Hutch - another great game for the boy.

I gave it to Forbes as i thought it was the best game he's played for us. It was a hard decision though today with so many playing well.
