couttsy Posted August 10, 2012 Report Share Posted August 10, 2012 edinburgh to alicante on the wednesday with easyjet then reus to prestwick with ryanair on the saturday night. £166 bucks plus a motor and hotels. the reus to prestwick flight is currently sitting at 25 quid total for anyone looking for a cheap return flight. My dad and I are doing similar steelboy, flying Glasgow to Alicante on the Wednesday with easyjet then returning to Prestwick from Reus on that cheap flight on the Saturday night. Not sure yet how we're getting from Alicante to Valencia or Valencia to Reus and not sure yet where we're spending the 3 nights either but going to work that out over the next couple of days. GrahamH- thanks for the offer of a lift from Madrid. Am I correct in saying the fast train from Madrid to Valencia takes 90mins but is a steep 80€ ? Booked the NH Abashiri looks sort of central only 4km from the stadium, booked it whilst booking the flights on expedia and for the 3 nights plus flights was £397. It couldn't have been arranged for a worse weekend! Reckon my only option would be to fork out for the charter which the club are looking into, providing it comes back immediately after the game. Come out the arrivals area and down the escalator and you're on the platform No metro at Alicante airport, only Valencia airport.
