Early indication on how we may fair over two legs, may be tonights game between Malaga and Panathinaikos.

Despite their financial problems; Malaga are a better team than Levante, and we saw how we fared against Panathinaikos.

Interesting to see the outcome of that match tonight, albeit Malaga will set up somewhat differently to what we began with against Pana.

what we have to do is pretty simple imo. don't lose any stupid goals and take our chances. we made the tie easy for panathanikos by gifting them goals, they barely had to get out of first gear over the full 180 mins.

if they turn up and play us off the park then fair enough. we have to make them work for it though.

.

Are you mixing up Malaga and Mallorca?

Are Malaga not owned by an Arab and been splashing the cash last 2 years?

Read an article, and guy wants to build a port similar to puerto banus in between Malaga and Marbella, and bought the club to win favour with the locals.

My info may be outdated though, and the bubble may have burst?

As mentioned, they're staying in the Radisson. Passed their team bus outside there on my way home and a group of their fans. The fans were sporting half 'n' half Motherwell/Levante scarves. It was quite an odd sight!

(Not sure if the scarves were the ones from our club shop or theirs)

Never seen the point of those scarfs , you buy one ,you go to game, they cheat like fuck and win ,you're raging and your left with a scarf you hate and realise you're a dick for getting it
