Does anyone know how some of the new guys got on today?

Particularly Neilson??

Neilson never had a save to make hollis only had 1 or 2 in 2nd half. Reid looked pretty decent

Very much a friendly no chances either end 1st half we hit bar in 2nd, mchugh had decent chance and Moore should have scored. Not much in it

Don't want to be pedantic but it's Nielsen not Neilson. If you spell it Neilson you scare the shit out of people by making them think we've signed Robbie Neilson.

It's the bloody iPhone autocorrect changing it to the wrong spelling

Wonder if anyone saw Faddy at the Donny game today? Hearing he may have been offered a deal at Blackpool to cover Matt Phillips who has broken his arm.

Looking at various Blackpool forums and have seen no sign of that. However McCourt is on trial with them, so that maybe the option they chose.

Nope he was in vodka wodka in glasgow today with Stephen fletcher and a few others from sevco. Got talking to him and he's well up for staying with us.

im not long home, had a great day out albeit a long one

lovely stadium, and outstanding pitch and set up

beer being sold, being allowed out for a fag.....me, my dad and the wee man in for a total of £16!! great value

the wee man also got to take a penalty at HT on the pitch along with other youngsters

Ended up tuning into Radio Sheffield after all. They are doing occasional updates with "What a shitey home support" clearly audible in the last one.

their fans were trying to wind up the motherwell fans, "engerland, engerland" - "whats it like to wear a skirt" then "can ye hear the motherwell sing", so the only song of the day was sung to that, and most folk joined in - so nice timing!!!

new signings, keeper had hee haw to do, Hollis had more to do in the 2nd half

Sutton - another clash of heads, 7 stitches on tuesday althogh this time im guessing it was precautionary he was taken off - the other guy defo came off worse

Reid was the best of the new signings IMO,got forward well, and put in a good few tackles. Lawson played well too - Vigurs gave the ball away a few times, although we only had 3 chances IMO his 35 yard strike, McHughs shot and Murrays chance

ZFA was the only width we had - LAw, Las and Vigurs played central - with no one on the right, until Reid pushed forward

Hutchy played well against Paynter tpday - was very impressed with him

great day - although no goals - well done to all who travelled, more than i expected

Just in, enjoyable day, nice stadium although pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Walked from town centre in blazing heat, wish had got a taxi!

Game was pretty tame stuff to be honest, we had better of the 1st half they probably shaded the 2nd.

Good practise for the boys if we draw a team from somewhere hot in the Europa.

Think i'm right in saying we're the only spl team to avoid defeat against any half decent team from outside Scotland so far.Celtic have been pumped in all 4 games including a 6-2 and 3-0 against lower league German teams, same with Dundee utd and Charlton beat St mirren 4-0 today so it wasn't a bad start considering all the player changes as well.

Aye and we got pumped 4-0 in our first friendly at Ayr last year and still finished 2nd, so friendlies prove hee haw!
