2014-15 Ins And Outs

He doesn't half land on his feet Gunnar.

I thought he'd be working on a fishing boat next season but he's got a chance of playing for the Crown Prince of Brunei's team in the Singapore league.

That's because he's not as bad as some would have you believe.

Based on his reported wages, if we can get rid of Neilsen we can pay Les back early!

Don't talk that kind of sense on here...

Gunnar and Dan are pretty much on par with each other I reckon.

They both have some good points but hey both also have bad. Dan maybe edges it with his shot stopping a little better. Both are just 'ok' in my eyes.

Either way, if we can shift one of them to free up wages then happy days.

I would suggest he has a very good agent given that Mark Hughes took him with him from Blackburn to Man City and now Steve Kean (who was also at Blackburn) appears to want to sign him.

Neilsen was awarded MOTM against Germany in a world cup qualifier 18 months ago. Dan, Dan he's our man couldn't get on the bench at Dundee 18 months ago.

Give neilsen a few games then and we will see if there is still as much love for him.

Neilsen can't even make the first team in a relegation threatened side 18 months later, while Twardzik is a guaranteed starter in a premier league team 18 months later.

Hey, this 'pick two random things and jam them together to make your point' thing is fun.

Ah, the tried and tested "one off game where he conceded three goals " method of judging players.

Caught a big one!! Iv got no love for either of them, and picking between neilsen & twardzik as number 1 for me is like picking which baw you would like kicked in first. I just dont buy this good shot stopper patter, all goalkeepers shot stop, thats why they are goalkeepers at the end of the day. We have been spoiled with keepers in recent years and thats maybe why I have my opinion, I just think we could get better if we shopped about a bit, thats all. However our priorities lie elsewhere in terms of positions to fill on the park be it this month or in the summer!

Anyway.......

Notice Ryan McGowan, ex Hearts centre half is back on Scotland looking for a club. Would be a good signing for us, although I know there is very little chance he could join.

I think they pay for those players though, we won't do that.

My favourite thing about Gunnar is that he's on the end of some ownage from Zlatan in one of his youtube videos.

Neilsen moving on, without a cost to the club and freeing up his salary, would be a good move for the club. He may be better than his form for us suggests, but it has not worked for him at Fir Park and it is time for us to go our separate ways.
