Brilliant result.

A win on saturday would all but guarantee 3rd,then we can fight those sheepshagging superheroes for second! Show those cunts wee teams win the league cup most seasons n no matter how much they wish, the 80's are still not returning.

Tremendous result at a difficult venue given the stretched resources we are currently experiencing .

Think thats us 11pts ahead of Caley now which should all but rule them out of the chase for 3rd .

Hoping for a wee turn from Hearts tomorrow and looking forward to a wee day out and hopefully 3 more points in Paisley on Sat to send us into the split in cracking shape and on the coat-tails of the sheep in the hunt for 2nd .

Mon The Well. !!

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall on BBC Radio Scotland

"We came here to win and at 1-1 there were no designs on holding out for a point and I thought our work ethic won the game. It was a sublime finish from Iain Vigurs.

"It was a big game for us after the disappointment of Saturday and the lads showed great character."

For all the people that like to say we never win our "must win" games - here's one for the collection.
