McManus, Kerr, Reid, Law. Seriously, surely their are better younger players than these imposters. McCall did say that Kerr was shocking with the ball at his feet, and what does he do, signs him up again and then sign's his twin in O'brien, who also cant pass a ball. Sure, you wage budget was slashed, but come on junior players can pass a ball as well as run about like headless chickens.

We need a LEADER at the back, who can also organise.

Lasley would be as well clattering McManus and saving the manager the hassle of dropping him.

Kerr is atrocious, Ainsworth is a lazy sod and Reid is basically a 2nd division player who was unattached and then unbelievably signed up by an SPL team. He must know himself that's he's out his depth.

What's just as worrying though is the long ball shite that we've adopted. The only one of the back 4 who is refusing to hump the ball as high and long as their legs will let them is the 17 year old. Fair play to him. Get 3 more youngsters on in 2 nd half and get Kerr, Ainsworth and Reid to fuck

can only presume his injury knackered any chance he had in the game. Kerr is young player, who will make mistakes. But playing out of position and then being put in your natural position with a center back of McManus' lack of ability has certainly not helped him and if anything made him worse. Remember Hutchinson seemed to go backwards when paired with McManus.

Thomas has been great but please don't put the pressure of being some sort of saviour on his shoulders.

Let's manage him right. The manager needs to pick and choose when to use him and when to protect him. The fans need to be fully supportive of him when he's showing form like this and when he has the inevitable drop in form as he's still a kid.

Looks like we have a real player on our hands, someone who could be hugely valuable to us. We quite literally cannot afford to screw this one up.

Presumably Thomas didn't start as we wanted someone in front of Watt who would offer a bit of protection which Law did. When Thomas came on we looked a lot more dangerous but also a lot more open.

For those calling for Erwin to start, I'd only say that Sutton had a good game today with what he had to feed off.

Good performances from Law, Watt, Sutton and Thomas. Worst player on the park? Ainsworth...

Considering we can't replace a whole team, my guess is that a goalie is at the bottom of the shopping list. Thomas and Erwin looked handy when they came on, hopefully we see more of them. Watt looked shaky in spells but did ok considering Aberdeen were targeting him.

Another desperate performance devoid of any attacking intent or ideas, full of players hiding not wanting the ball, nobody making runs, nobody closing down, nobody getting into space, nobody putting a tackle in. Kerr mistake for the goal just about summed up our season.

Thomas changed the match when he came on. It's amazing what difference it made just to have one player, a kid, on there that ACTUALLY WANTED TO PLAY FOOTBALL.

There is a big difference between starting games and coming on as a sub but Thomas should at least get the chance to start after his last two appearances.

Fair play to Luke Watt, didn't look out of place although that could be a back handed compliment in this current team!

Play your best players. Didn't do Faddy or Pearo any harm. Get Thimas in.

Don't necessarily disagree with that. My point was that the manager AND the fans need to manage him properly. We've already seen Erwin getting pelters now when he was being touted as a player with great potential.

Will always starting Thomas without protecting him really benefit all parties?

1st goal: Kerr gave the ball away. But who's mistake was it to be so out of line of the others in the backline, then try play offside and then give up the chase? We are not talking about a youngster here, its McManus a guy who's got international experience for fecks sake.

2nd goal: Goalie makes a mess of things, and it costs us again.
