Sparra found himself stranded on a train and despite his best efforts, couldn't record more than a few minutes without the Scotrail woman announcing "this train is for..." or "we are now approaching..."

So, Joe McKelvie and Peter Elder joined myself and Busta to go over this week's talking points:

I'm not entirely sure if there is a personal issue here or not. I don't know Andy and therefore can't be accused of being an arselicker. But, attack the fella on a public forum by raising something that's two years old after the piper has been paid ... A public forum on which he is one of the few to be identified by his own name?????

Well, I could think of better ways that grievances could be settled.

Life goes on, even after you've been in jail! From an "outsiders" point of view, give the man a break...

"Post Highlands was always going to be a struggle and as a result Sparra and Jay had to form a bizarre double-act to go over the shambles at Ross County, discuss the departure of chairman Brian McCafferty and ‘look ahead’ to Hearts this weekend. There’s also this week’s ‘Remember Well’ question and some Will Smith…"

Your recent podcast summed up the apathy that I have towards Motherwell at this present time. Recently, I have been seeking out other things to occupy my time on match days. I would rather be earning some money, or enjoying myself than freezing my balls off watching the dross that we currently pass off as football. However, it looks like I will be going to the game on saturday, unless I get a better offer before 3pm.

Familiarity breeds contempt, and all that. I know what you are saying, but I'd gladly be at the game regardless of the dross or otherwise that is served up. Even during our lowest points in the first division I still enjoyed my afternoon out with my mates.

Sadly, it will just be another morning keeping an eye on the Twitter feed.

Following a much improved performance at the weekend, the lads are joined by Ian Buchanan to go over the reasons as to the improvement, preview the Scottish Cup draw, look ahead to the trip to Partick Thistle on Saturday and cover this week’s ‘Remember Well’ question.

New podcast is online now - http://www.mfc1886.com/mfc-podcast-2015-16-episode-21/

There was still plenty of talking points despite the fixture against Partick Thistle falling foul to the weather. Busta, Jay and Sparra discuss the possibility of summer football, Connor Ripley's future at the club, the reformation of the League Cup and cover this week's 'Remember Well' question. The lads were also joined by Cove Rangers fan Ian Yule who gives an insight into our Scottish Cup opponents.

Victories at Celtic Park aren’t particularly common so getting the chance to talk over Saturday’s 2-1 victory with scorer of the winning goal in ’99 (and friend of the podcast) Kevin Twaddle was ideal.

Also on the agenda were the festive fixtures, Dom Thomas, James McFadden and this week’s Remember Well question.
