A few strong choices for me. Johnson was class in getting us the settling goals, Lasley and Hammell were immensely calming influences, and Erwin chased his heart out, but it had to come down to a straight shootout between our centre halves for me. Both were frankly colossal at the back, and I've plumped for a player who has flattered to deceive but had his finest moment in a well shirt today, McManus.

Got to go for Marv tho, guy is a potential star in the making. Defensively brilliant over two legs and a major threat going forward.

Great team performance. Superb down the spine of the side, Lang and McManus and Lasley and Pearson were great. I've given McManus a fair bit of stick this season but I wouldn't have said a word against him if he played like that every week.

 

Johnson has also been great, not just today, but over the two legs and Hammell has been brilliant since he came back.

 

Went for Pearson in the end but it could have been 5 or 6 players.

Hard to choose. Could easily have chosen between 4 or 5 players, but in the end plumped for Johnson.

Johnson's ability to carry the ball has added a much needed dynamic to the team and he was a real threat over the 2 legs.

 

McManus edges the vote for me. After an indifferent season, he's really stepped up to the plate when the pressure was on. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Laing together next season.
