Our next 2/3 signings are critical. Think we need to bring in some almost guaranteed quality to be in with a shout of the top half. At the moment, I'd go for:

Celtic

Aberdeen

Hearts

Inverness

Dundee

Dundee Utd

St Johnstone

Motherwell

Partick Thistle

Kilmarnock

Hamilton Accies

Ross County

Celtic will win it.

Aberdeen (and the media) will pretend they have a chance of winning it.

Whoever finishes bottom is irrelevant as Doncaster has already intimated he wants this season to be the last season of a 12 team SPFL.

How the rest shape up will depend on injuries, suspensions and luck.

Until we see who we'll have available for selection post transfer deadline day, anything on here is wishful thinking.

Current squad - Bottom 6, however I don't think I've seen enough quality being added by too many of our competitors.

As for 11pm on 1st September - We could be well placed to finish in the Euro places. Let's see how things pan out, still 6 weeks of acquisitions, deals and loans to iron out.

This is how I rate the squads as they stand at present. I'd expect the top 4 there to be Top 6 at the end of the season. The rest I don't think there is a huge margin and the transfer window is still going to be open for a while so things are bound to change.

1. Celtic

2. Aberdeen

3. St. Johnstone

4. Hearts

5. Dundee

6. Kilmarnock

7. Inverness

8. Ross County

9. Motherwell

10. Dundee Utd

11. Partick Thistle

12. Hamilton Academical
