Good patter here. Genuine fan of it.

However GA to Aberdeen wouldn't surprise me in January assuming current form continues.

I don't think they think he's good enough. They'll be looking for "a name".

Aberdeen fans will always want more. They are the most deluded, arrogant, pig headed, po-faced chumps out there. They think they have a divine right to be challenging for league titles and making inroads in Europe when the reality is that they are are no more than a standard Scottish top flight side these days.

Whoever takes on that job would be on a hiding to nothing.

I guess this is why we didn't play David Turnbull at right back.

Well that's just knocked a zero off our cut of his next transfer.

With the Newcastle revelation about to start under the new Saudi owners I would think our ex goalkeeper Mark Gillespie will be looking for another club, in fact I am not sure where he is in the pecking order now!

Interesting article but he will still be on a lot better contract than he had with us

It's back to the old story - particularly for keepers - do you want to play games or do you want to earn more cash. Randolph did the same when he left regular first team football at Middlesbrough to rejoin West Ham as a backup.

Ryan Bowman taken to hospital after running off park in his game tonight. Apparently his heart rate was over 250 at one point. Hope he is ok

I hope it's nothing serious and big bowman makes a quick recovery.

That’s only an air of professionalism… plenty at the club would support referring to him along the same lines

Glad to see him punted. The fact that some of us, myself included, were content to see him sign is a painful reminder of how bad we were last Jan.

I think you can always tell how well or otherwise a player is regarded at a club by the length of the club statement when  they leave. That one couldnt really have been any shorter......

He must have chucked the toys well out the pram for it to have come to this.

Absolutely. I can only surmise that things went badly wrong.

good luck to him.

We've signed many a player over the last few years who simply aren't good enough for SPL, the sooner we spot this and let them leave the better.

Suspect he'll have something lined up - hence the mutual ending of contact.

There's a few others who could  easily be in the same position  ( irrespective of making/not making social media comments. )  The hard bit is them finding new clubs and wishing to cancel their contract.

I'm old enough to remember when the chat on here was that Lawless was an example of a player we shouldn't have released.

Having said that - he has spent 9 years playing in the top Scottish League, which is a decent career that many players we released would have been happy with.

I'm not surprised we punted him he left by mutual consent after his recent shenanigans.

Is he allowed to sign for another club given it was after the window closed?
