We would have been out it by half time without Hartley.

Hartley by a mile, actually saw him having a quiet word trying to gee up McHugh in first half. If a deal goes through for him I think he will be skipper which I actually think will be good for Carl as well.

Easiest choice of the season by far. Hartley was head and shoulders above everybody else.

Easy decision- Hartley.

 

However, special mention to Bigirimana. He put in a great shift and looked assured on the ball. Much more than what McHugh and Rose did between them. He will surely start next game.

I went Bigirimana just cause he completely changed the game when he came on, allowing Campbell to focus on McGinn. His work rate is off the scale and a tidy player to boot.

 

Hartley was also solid, and Cadden put on a good shift.

Went for Tanner, thought he did well when he came on.

Hartley. Born leader. Was talking to players throughout the game and trying to gee them up and get that extra 10% out of them. Didnt put a foot wrong defensively and always a threat at set pieces.

Hartley, he's the captain of that team whether he wears the armband or not. Bigirimana made a big improvement to the mid-field second half and, apart from the goal, Carson did ok. The rest were below par.

 

It shows how far we have come when we play as poorly as we did and yet could still have taken something from that game.
