This is a huge window for us but the most important thing is who stays and who goes in this window. Obviously bowman and rose are gone so far but who else ?

Ross Maclean meant to be joining Falkirk permanently as well,  obviously at a guess I'd imagine maybe the likes of Bigi, Newell and Shea Gordon may also leave the club.

A few weeks ago, I’d have expected Frear and ATS to move on but maybe they’ve earned a reprieve to the end of the season.

While Rose is a loss, albeit a manageable loss, getting Bowman out the door is great news. I suspect the underperforming Main and Bigi are both keen on a move south. Fingers crossed something materialises.

With regards new arrivals, has QoS forward Lyndon Dykes been mentioned on here? No idea if there is any truth in the rumour but there is some decent content on P&B.

I’m confident we can have a far better second half of the season. The break has come just at the right time giving us the chance to get players back. Robinson seems to have recognised he needs to shift the balance from quantity slightly more over to quality and has stated we need strengthening up front and out wide.  If we manage to add two or three quality additions we should have more than enough to see results improve.

Apparently interested in a left back from Stoke City, Josh Tymon, presumably a loan but also interesting to see Calvin Miller has left Dundee from his loan. Wouldn’t mind giving him a chance and seemed decent whenever I’ve watched him so a good player to play on left, either winger, left back and striker

well spotted sir, and well done for posting it in with straightforward language rather than the cryptic shit that others post on here

Aye, no point in fucking about. If I hear something that sounds credible I'll post it, not got much time for cryptic nonsense or the classic "heard it from my brothers wife's mate who plays 5 a-sides with the guy who drives the team bus" stuff.

Should hopefully be the forward we've been crying out for.

As a recent convert to the club ( season ticket last 3 years) is he as good as a few are stating ? How does he compare to a Moult, style of play, strength, weaknesses ? Dead ball specialist ?

At his peak he offered much more than Moult. His peak years were probably at Leeds, but he's always been a talent as his transfer fees show (11 million to Fulham, 12 million to Aston Villa). Very skillful footballer and can take a great free kick.

Haven't seen him play for a while, so no idea what level he's at these days, but imagine he can still put in a good shift.

If you search for him on youtube there are a few compilations of his goals at Leeds and Fulham.

It's an exciting signing based upon the form he showed, particularly under Mark McGhee, first time around and the successes and profile he's enjoyed since. I have no idea what his current form and fitness is like currently however.

First time around he was certainly technically proficient, offered something from set-pieces and had a decent goalscoring record.

If you haven't done so before now have a browse on YouTube and see what footage you can source from the 07'08 in the early stages of which McCormack was involved in a joyous, potent, and free flowing attacking line up the current side could only dream of. There was a spell teams were blown away inside the first half an hour and we just played out the rest of the game!

He's clearly not going to playing in a team of that quality or attacking verve this time but if he can replicate his form of that season we'll be much the stronger for his presence.
