Nostalgia Night 5/10/18

Recommended Posts

The Nostalgia Night run by the Former Players’ Club and Well Society earlier in the year proved so popular that they are re-running it and this time are opening it up to fans.

It is this Friday (5th October), at 7pm for a 7.30pm kick-off in the Davie Cooper Suite.

One of the organisers has asked me to pass the word that there are tickets left and you can pay at the door.

Aye, I was at the last one - fantastic night. Would recommend it to anyone who can get along.

My favourite nostalgia nights were from the 1980s.

Yes, cannot disagree with this. Looking back, and with hindsight, it's pretty clear to see that nostalgia just isn't what it once was.

Former Players Nostalgia Night Returns!

A reminder that our Former Players Club are hosting a Nostalgia Night tonight in the Cooper Bar at 7pm.

This will be a re-run of the very successful night which took place in April earlier this year and provide an opportunity for another 100 supporters to attend the event which will include recordings from matches ranging from 1950 – 2000, a short quiz, and a number of Former Players will be in attendance including John Martis, Billy Reid, David Whiteford, Tom Forsyth, Bobby Watson, Willie Pettigrew, Dougie Hope, Davie Main, Brian Martin, Willie McVie, Cammy Murray, Bobby Graham, Rob McKinnon and Keith Lasley

Tickets are priced at £10, including a programme and a pie at half-time and you can pay on the door tonight.

All funds raised from the evening will be donated to the Well Society and benefit under the “Double Your Money“ offer from former owner Les Hutchison.
