He’s injured, an injury he picked up playing for us.

If we apply the “real world” logic to injuries, we’ll have Digby Brown chapping the door soon enough.

I never suggested we sack him. Simply not renew his contract. Would be some employment lawyer to find a case with that action.

They certainly used to. I don't know if that's still the case these days, but I'm sure if it's an affordable option most clubs will protect themselves that way.

It wasn't that long ago we were single-handedly responsible for keeping them in the league with the amount of points we donated to them. Nice that they have returned the favour.
