We might actually have lost that game if not for Gillespie, but I've gone for a "welcome back" vote for Cadden.

First time i’m not voting, simply because there was no real stand out candidate in my view.

Two match changers were Gillespies penalty save and Frears opener.

Then on the other hand Turnbull was probably the best player and scored a goal.

Going to go for Gillespie.

Could have been a completely different outcome but for the pen save. Mark Gillespie penalty specialist!!

The first two substitutions changed the flow of the game and I might have voted for Frear if he had scored that one on one at 2-0. Hastie Turnbull is a class act and his finish was sumptuous. I've gone for Gillespie though, if he hadn't saved the penalty it would have been a totally different game.

I know he's copied Turnbull's haircut, but even I can tell them apart.

Turnbull for me. The way he makes space for himself either to make a pass or to pass the ball into the net is incredible. He never seems to get caught in possession.

Good performances from Gillespie; Dunne; Gorrin and Campbell.

Oops, and I hadn't even had a drink, my apologies to Mr Turnbull.

Chili D for me! His pace and strength got us out of a couple of scrapes and he and Aldred wee pretty solid.

Dunne was brilliant today

Completely agree.  It was a big loss when we sold Cedric then lost Dunne to injury.  He used his pace to great effect today and his distribution has improved. Mostly simple passes, but just the fact that he is finding a man makes a huge difference.

Well the second half anyway. The first half he almost gave it back to St Johnstone every time with a long ball.  His distribution was much better the second half just playing mostly easy passes

I actually thought Turnbull was below his usual standards yesterday.

The double substitution changed the game so firstly credit due to the manager there - Cadden looked lively and frear should have had a second, but it could have been a different, and extremely ugly, second half had st johnstone scored the penalty..... Mark Gillespie!
