LoL is that how far we have fallen you can now win the man of the match by hitting 3 decent corners incredible .

It's incredible you weren't able to read and understand  2 full sentences.

I'll paste the first part again. Maybe if we all keep our posts to one sentence and small words you'll be able to keep up.

He was at the centre of most of the good things we created in the first half.

I started the sentence after that with "And". In our language, that means in addition to what was stated in the previous statement.

Hope this helps!

Polworth had a good game, and I noticed a lot more defensive involvement on Saturday. I think he has flown under the radar a little, but is going to prove to be an excellent signing.  However, I gave my vote to Long, who had good movement all game and showed he could hold the ball up when needed to. His run and finish for the third we’re excellent too.

I thought our midfield was pish on Saturday.

Went for Scott.  Thought he showed something playing wide.  The rest were at best mediocre.

And yet "mediocre" was enough to boss the game from start to finish.

Although Polworth and Campbell were better than that.

I think Polworth and Donnelly are always going to have a tough job winning over a percentage of the support. In my view they have had a very decent start to the season, both are improving and Donnelly is knocking in plenty. First three league games, one against Celtic and two away and both on plastic pitches was always a hell of a tough start for them, four points is not too shabby. Let’s see how Saturdays game goes.

If A is bad and B is much worse, A will win easily.

We won, deserved to win but almost all the players were not at the level they need to be.

The idea that because you win or even dominate a match means are good enough over a season to compete at a much higher level (we will rarely play a team as poor as Accies were on Saturday) is so simplistic it's, well, par for the course round here.

I'm pretty sure that being much better than our opposition in a game will lead to success.

To predict how we will perform against the team in the next match based on that is a mugs game.

We were much better than Hibs today too - so it's still working.

Maybe this simplistic approach has something to it.
