Repeat the first half hour that we played against them on the opening day but do ig for the full game, don't give any cheap goals and we should be grand...

Bit over simplistic but I do think hard pressing is a better strategy than sitting in.

MacGuire in for Donnelly and otherwise unchanged from ibrox.

I think sloth will never kick a ball for us, interested where Steelboy has pulled the 6 figure sum from mind you.

Celtic looked good tonight as did Rangers. The old firm have upped their game in Europe and apart from Livi I doubt if any sides in the Scottish premiership will get anywhere near them this season. 5-0 Celtic.

Lazio were poor tonight, allowed Celtic to dominate the play all 2nd half, as for Livi they are brutal, so if they can beat Celtic everybody else can as well,  so let's get right  into them from the start, if we sit back and allow them to dictate the play we will  lose,  so get in about them and take the game to them, don't let them settle and they are beatable

We need to do what we did in the first 35 mins at Fir Park for 90 mins, and it still might not be enough, but at least it will give those brave souls making the journey something to get behind. If Celtic are not quite on it, you never know......

After a shaky start, Celtic were very impressive tonight. Dominated large spells of the 2nd half.

Hopefully they are a tad jaded and complacent come Sunday. When did we last go 4 years without beating them?

Must be as far back as the 1980s at least

Since I have started going to watch Well in the early 1990s we have managed at least one victory against Celtic every 2/3 years.

Like the recent fixture at Ibrox, this is all about performance and realistically we have little chance of coming away with anything. If we go in with the right tactics and attitude though, we may get lucky. There is a reasonable chance that their midweek exploits may leave them a little jaded and a below parerfomance from them is a requirement. However, the one certainty is that if our performance is below the standards we are trying to set ourselves, we will be punished. Cannot see beyond a very difficult day at the office and a defeat, but a decent effort and game plan and we can head into the international break without too much damage done.

We can consider this one to be a free hit. All things being equal the chances of taking anything from it are slim at best but then again no direct competitors will be taking anything there either. Fear the worst while hoping for the best. This wont define or greatly affect the season.

That’s a good way of describing it. Livi took advantage of their free hit and if you are going to gain any advantage on the teams out with the old firm these are the games to try and sneak a point or even better 3. We have nothing to lose and  if we can avoid getting hammered it’s a bonus.
