Andy_P 1,535 Report post Posted November 24 How very sporting of them to get two men sent off ahead of our game. Let's make the most of it...
The African 323 Report post Posted November 24 Indeed. They are fighting for survival, but we need to get back to winning ways. We cannot afford to take them too lightly. Anyone in the bottom ten is capable of taking something from the other one members of that part of the league.
GazzyB 654 Report post Posted November 24 Bit of pressure on us to get back to winning ways. If we have any genuine aspirations of a top four finish then games like this are must win. 3-1 to us, Hylton, Long and Grimshaw!
Ross 16 Report post Posted November 24 . 3-1 to us, Hylton, Long and Grimshaw!Grimshaw isn’t going to score until he’s 35 and playing in the vanarama national league Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fizoxy 401 Report post Posted November 24 Grimshaw will one day score for us and it will be glorious, and most likely the 1 in a 4-1.
texanwellfan 335 Report post Posted November 24 1-0 for us. Grimshaw with 30 yarder in 90+5

steelboy 692 Report post Posted November 25 We have to be looking for a minimum of 7 points from the next three. Hylton, Cole and Scott to start together for the first time.
texanwellfan 335 Report post Posted November 25 Is Donnelly back for this game. Agree on at least 7 points if we are to be serious contenders for third.

Time will tell, as he's been struck down by illness. By all means we should try our damnedest for 3rd spot but I think 5th or 6th is a more realistic target. texanwellfan 335 Report post Posted November 25 I think 3rd is a realistic target. Not much to choose between all the teams. No real standouts that are a class above the rest, so why not be aiming for third spot.? 1
middleeastdave 43 Report post Posted November 25 I know I will be in the minority but I would like to give Carson have a game against St Johnstone, I am certainly not blaming Gillespie for any of the goals lately but I just find that his distribution of the ball has been not the best and if we are going to loose Carson in the summer when his contract is up,( I cannot see him signing another contract from us) it might be a good idea to put him in the shop window as we might get some money for him in January? Yorkyred 300 Report post Posted November 26 I would give Carson a start, I feel he’s the better of the two keepers and has been very patient, we miss Donnelly. No one is going to convince me there’s a decent team outside of Celtic and Rangers, it’s up for grabs for anyone who can put a run together. Top six however would be a great achievement regardless, ( I’m guessing everyone on here would have taken it if offered at the start of the season) and more than doable if we hold on to Robinson. well_said 22 Report post Posted November 26 It would need to take one hell of a deflection as the end of his trademark headless chicken runs normally ends up with him facing the east stand or the main stand before losing the ball cheaply and being way out of position leaving us wide open on his side of the pitch.

texanwellfan 335 Report post Posted November 28 Not much talk about the game. Perhaps all thinking that we should win this but not saying anything for fear of jinxing us ???

We should be looking to win this but wheterh we do or not is an entirely different matter. Will Saints be awarded yet another penalty against us? No Murray Davidson this time round. Or Steve "Leave The Foot In" MacLean, for that matter, currently bumping along the bottom of the puddle that is Hearts reserves. I expect another nail-biter and a narrow 2-1 win for The Orgasmatrons (that's us, btw). Looking furrit tae ma pie, tbh.
couttsy 48 Report post Posted November 29 Tough competitive game as usual against Saints. I'd go with Gillespie, Tait, Carroll, Hartley & Gallagher, Campbell, Donnelly & Polworth, Hylton, Cole & Scott. 2-1 Well (Scott & Cole) :-)
steelboy 692 Report post Posted November 30 The team selected is probably what Robinson sees as his first 11 so hopefully they put in a good performance.
texanwellfan 335 Report post Posted November 30 not sure about persevering with Cole and Long I’m the starting line up. Rather see just one of them play thru the middle. Hope they make me eat my words now ! COYW
