With rangers having two massive games this week hopefully it will have a similar effect on them as to what happened to us when we had celtic 3 times in a week. Will be interesting to see how Hylton gets on against Tavernier, he could cause him some real bother with the form he’s on.

Well 7-1 on skybet........hmmmmmm tempting

Cue a whole week of Sevco bleating about refereeing decisions going  against them and it could be a frustrating afternoon for us.

All depends on the calibre of the referee *holds head in hands*.

The trick is to not give a flying fruit bat, faites vos jeux and have a right go at the imposters.

COYW!

They got mugged today, I fully expect them to suffer the same on Thursday and get papped out of the Europa  league, so why cant we give them another kicking on Saturday just to finish their week, it about time we did

Please don’t turn up at the ground on Saturday, won’t be much of an atmosphere.

This will be the best Rangers team we've faced since they rejoined us as Newco (it's amazing what kind of squad you can assemble by going into £11 million additional debt every 6 months).

It will be our best result of the season if we wrestle a point off them, but we are certainly capable of making a game of it.

There is no chance morelos will get through two games in the week ahead without a red card.

On an aisde, anyone know why the goalmouths at Hampden were well worn? Queens Park have moved out, two semi's and Scotland games before today.

Queen's Park are still playing at big Hampden, think it's the start of next season they vacate the premises.

Could be a really bad week for them.

Blew a 2 goal lead at Pittodrie, while Celtic score in injury time to open up a gap at top.

Pump Celtic in a cup final and lose.

If they lose on Thursday, they will be absolutely broken, even if they get a result an intense 10 days will surely take a toll on them.

They do have a squad that should allow them to rotate if required bringing mind you.

For us to beat them they have to be below par and we have to be humming like a well oiled machine. Despite getting 9 from 9 in a week we haven't set the heather alight in terms of performance if we have for those looking at the results only.

The biggest difference - as we saw in our game against Celtic - is that against teams like St Mirren, Livi, St Johnstone, Hearts etc. when we give away a half-chance at the back or miss a chance up top it doesn't hurt us. Against a better team, they are more likely to take advantage of it with a striker that earns more in a year than our entire team's salaries combined.

Despite his record against Celtic, Morelos is a bit more dangerous than Ikpeazu.

its a free hit a them, just get stuck in , that said I expect out usual insipid result against Rangers to continue.  Plus officialdom owes them a penalty after the Aberdeen game and they can't allow them to fall to far behind Celtic at this stage

Thats true. But they also wont sit in as much as the other teams so we should get more space to play in when we get the ball. It will be fine margins. If we can cut out stupid mistakes at the back and make good decisions going forward, we definitely have a chance. We proved that at Ibrox.

Very good point. We have been ahead in 4 of the 6 games we lost. Basically, we let the teams back into the game by slack/sloppy defending and basic mistakes.

Even in the highlights from last weekend's Hearts game we saw a fair bit of sloppy defending mainly not picking players up and/or giving them too much space. Its an aspect of game that we have to improve if we want to beat the better sides.

We defended really well at St Mirren, they didn’t get a sniff. Only save Gillespie made was in injury time.
