Game 26: St Johnstone (A) 12th February 2020

Recommended Posts

He played in the reserve game on Monday so I doubt he will start. I assume the same team from Saturday will start again tonight if they are all fit. Expect similar subs as well depending on how the game is going.

Given our busy schedule I'd expect some rotation. Hopefully our midfield and defence will stand firm tonight. If they can do that we'll take something from the game.

Quite excited about the game tonight. Over the past few years this time of year has been a bit mundane, no real threat of relegation and not much else to play for. Every game matters just now, and I feel like Robinson would be bitterly disappointed with anything less than 3rd, despite what he may say to the media were we to finish 4th.

Hopefully we can do the business tonight.

Robinson has already stated that Watt will be on the bench as he is not up to speed fitness  side and also on the role he is going to be asked to play.

Almost certainly we'll be in the north end of the Main Stand.

We are.

A weather warning of ice and snow has been issued by the Met Office to those thinking of travelling to Perth tonight.

Not seeing any sign of this...

Campbell in for Polworth.

Also no Ndjoli or Ilic, is the latter injured?

Ilic played for the reserves the other day. The signing of both Aarons and Watt suggests that Ndjoli isn't living up to expectations...

When we signed Aarons, Robinson said that would give Ndjoli the chance to play his more preferred central position. I thought I remember reading that Ndjoli picked up a knock, but I might just have made that up. Certainly a bit early to be writing him off.

Good start, Long going close from distance and Aarons with a mishit effort.

We are looking good tonight.

Aarons looks dangerous if we give him more of the ball.

Real lack of quality going forward, and absolutely nobody in midfield wanting the ball.

As gash as Polworth has been lately we badly miss him.
