Tony Watt must be wondering what's going on. Signed his extension early, was saying great things about the club, phoning season ticket holders, here all pre season. You can understand why Long started ahead of him in Dingwall, and maybe even again on Saturday, but when Long is shunted out wide and White is about to get 90 minutes ahead of him when he has done absolutely fuck all but fall over he's got to be wondering what the fuck is the point.

If I was Watt Id be walking in with Turnbull to request that transfer. Robinson hasnt a fucking clue! Watt is the 1 man in our entire squad suited and able to perform the lone striker role, and the loan signing who got sent off 30 mins into his debut has had more game time. White is a last throw of the dice sub, Long is a partner in a front two. Either try 2 up front with Long & White, or play Watt, THAT is the only decision to make.

Unfortunately unlike 2018-19, we have sold any half decent kids and disbanded the youth team so there is nobody to do a Hastie & Turnbull.

1 win in 12 now is it? Or is it 1 win in 11?  Either way its far from good enough. Hibs will fucking murder us on saturday, they will take 5 off us without breaking sweat

Behave no they weren't the were just as pish as us, Carson had one  save to make all game and gifted them tbe equaliser,  it was 94 mins of utter feckin dross from both teams.

Football was in short supply from either team, but the better passing moves were absolutely Livi’s.

Completely agree. Watt’s omission is criminal. We’re in big big bother on the evidence of what we’ve seen so far.

Watt may or may not be better than White but he's not scored more than 4 league goals in a season since 2014/15.

We mainly need a 9 who can hold the ball up and bring in Turnbull and the wingers like Main during the Hastie purple patch.

White battles away but you can see he's a lower league player and his tricks don't work on Premiership defenders or refs.

Two well taken goals but there wasn’t much else to get excited about. We look to be lacking in confidence, not helped by a shaky defence.

I said before he signed that Jordan White would never be easy on the eye but he could prove effective, I think that will be the case in time when his hold up play improves. How he got 90 mins tonight though with Watt on the bench is beyond me. Not for the first time this season, a baffling call from Robinson.

Difficult to see us getting anything at Easter Road.

Campbell and Mugabi were decent. Seedorf and Turnbull contributed.

The rest of them tho....

Yep I thought seedorf and turnbull were only players with anything about them then he takes them off. Felt hylton should have been on from start as he can take players on. Lamie too slow and clumsy at left back but we have nothing else. The stats said we only made 45 passes in 1st half which is horrendous. I hope we are not going back to days of long balls from our keeper. Looking a long season ahead at the moment. Hope callum lang can give us hope and confidence.

Both teams were pretty poor, and I wasn't that impressed by Dykes after all the hype. We are so weak at full back, and we can't afford to have that if we want to play with 2 wingers.

Two well taken goals from us, and it's great to see Turnbull back amongst the goals, as we're going to rely on him. The goals we conceded were avoidable.

We need hylton to be fit, and Long shouldn't be starting.

Said previously Long looks like someone how doesn’t want to be here

But if we’re going to play him it’s got to be up top with a partner not out on the wing

Inverness and Livi fans didn’t rate White and Lamie that highly and they are clubs below us.

We seemed to be in a bidding war with ourselves to tie down Long.

We gave Mugabe 18 months when he hadn’t had a club in months and had the  piss ripped out of us for signing Fox.

Fucking terrible and the pissing away of money each season doesn’t fit with the fan owned club model one bit.

Given the numbers, the balance in the squad is a joke .

Issue is formation and trying to square the circle

Ohara , Turnbull and Campbell are quality players but  3 midfield players isn’t enough .

personal view is we should move to a 4-5-1 which can flip into a 4-3-3.  Either Long, Lang , Watt or White should play.

if we play 2 of them , we need to move to a 4-4-2 .

Watt isnt the goalscoring answer, but having him in the team "should" mean the 3 behind him score a lot more.  At St Johnstone Watt was praised for his  hold up work up front, allowing others to get into the game. Im not saying he's the messiah, Im not even convinced he is that great a player, but in our squad, he is a million miles ahead of our other options

There's an obvious relief about getting off the mark, but one point from nine with the set of fixtures we were given. It isn't good enough is it?

It just feels so disjointed at the moment. A bit of a makeshift defence. A midfield that feels like it has yet to properly click, on the wings at least, and nothing too much to get excited about in front of goal.

It looked a bit like a square pegs line up again with either a central midfielder out wide if we were playing 4-4-2 or as it turned out a striker wide with the 4-3-3.  But getting in front you thought, right here we go.  We've got the lead, should have a little more confidence to go about our business and what do we do but immediately give another stupid penalty away.

Credit to them for digging in a bit when Livi had the momentum after their equaliser to manage to get ahead again but it felt inevitable that they would equalise sooner or later in the second half. Not good enough to go and kill them off and not good enough to kill the game and see it out.  Just waiting for it coming.

Much improvement required.
