It is. There's never been any element of our attacking play under SR which seems organised. It's just down to individuals to make something happen or set pieces.

We were the fourth leading scorers in the league last season, one goal behind third, regardless of who scores or how they score that’s an actual fact. Look I get that people are upset, so am I but Robinson did see us finish third last season, another fact. He’s not suddenly become clueless and the players have not suddenly become useless. We are dominating possession, making lots a chances and not exactly getting thrashed by teams. Lots of if’s and buts even a fraction of those shots goes in and we are comfortable mid-table or better. I don’t buy the argument that it was obvious to everyone bar Robinson that we were weak up front, many on here including me though we had more than enough quality, they have simply not performed. My worry was the defence and they have made poor decisions which have cost us points, but even then we are losing by just the odd goal because we can’t score. I’m personally not a fan of Mugabi but think other that that with Carroll back we have a back four and goalkeeper that have more than enough. I don’t like O’Hara playing so deep, does not work for me but even given that we again have more than enough quality in that area, I would get Polworth back in who does create chances for others.  End of the day every manager is judged on results and it’s probably going to be 2 points from the first 18 which is going to leave Robinson under severe pressure, for me however he’s earned more time to turn it around.

But you have to judge him from the turn of the year because it looks like he has learned nothing and hasn't made good enough signings to improve team .He has to go before we become detached at the bottom and as somebody said in a post this squad couldn't handle a relegation battle .Cant wait for his interview to hear who gets the blame

We are nowhere near a relegation battle in August and are not detached.  We are one win away from Top 6.

The run of poor form is concerning, especially as Robinson had a close season to fix it, but there is still plenty time for the manager to change it and turn it around.

If he doesn't do that then you have to look at it but we aren't at that stage yet.

To be fair to Robinson we've been in worse positions before and we've got out of it so right now we just need to be a bit more patient and see what transpires.

5 or 6 matches down the line with a full round of matches played is when you start assessing it and like I said bringing in a player rather than a manager, for me,  would have more effect.

Do you think a new manager gets goals out of Long, Watt, White?  If so, he'd be changing the habits of a life time.

Any manager or supporters of a team with these figures would be disappointed to lose the game, but to say Accies were the better team because we fell asleep at a corner is nonsense

Who lost their man ? I turned it off after goal, tbf accies had a few chances without doing anything spectacular,

We were good going forward last season when we had Scott and Cole in the team who could both link and create. Now we have guys up front who play like school kids charging with their heads down.

We also got some good breaks with free kick and set piece goals last season which isn't happening now.

The reason to sack or keep Robinson isn't what a hypothetical new manager might do it has to be made based on his current performance. He's totally fucked the transfer window and his selection/tactics have been hopeless.

The only way he’ll be able to turn this round is going “direct” and it’s fair to say that won’t be well received

Correct...I ain't suffering watching that again. It worked while we were rebuilding but I didnt pay over £300 for a season ticket to watch that

Turnbull continues to impress even playing in this team and on current form.

I’d expect a big club will come in and take him for a good fee.

To be considered by Burrows.. Without DT are we at risk of relegation? Should the board trust Robinson to source replacements?

I agree he has fucked the transfer window, not for the first time by the way.

However the transfer window isn't over so it's down to Robinson to admit his mistakes and bring someone in.

If he doesn't do that then I think his job will very much be in jeopardy in the near future but I think he at least deserves a chance to amend his mistakes.

We’re a fucking laughing stock. And in major trouble this season. The writing was on the wall after the Utd game and it’s only gotten worse.

Our head to head record v Accies is frankly abysmal and I honestly can’t see where the first win is coming from.

He'll be replaced by Polworth. Turnbull at present is firmly in the shop window.

At the end of tbe day you could play like Bayern Munich for 89 mins and then lose a late goal,  so great play lots of possession etc etc is feckin irrelevant if you don't score goals.

The stats will  show we were beaten, no wee footnote telling people how unlucky we were etc so the team that wins the game is the better one .

A midfield of Polworth, Donnally, Campbell, OHara is more than good enough on paper.

We have the players to sort this out, but the manager MUST change this formation that he insists on every single week...our two biggest problems are that we are so predictable in how we play and even how we make substitutes that any opposition manager must think they are a step ahead before we even kick off, secondly we continue to play one up front despite not having any player capable of doing it at this level...all of our strikers would benefit from having a partner, or DT playing much closer to them than he currently is.

I wonder if Robbo has completely run out of ideas, or whether he is too stuck in his ways to change...I think there is more than enough good players in the squad to get us out of this mess, it might take a new manager to realise it though

Well we did not have Turnbull for all of last season and still finished 3rd.

In many ways if we sell him may save our season. As we could maybe afford to try and bring in a few players up front that are better than what we have at the moment.

And for those that say Accies let us have the ball. Do us a favour. Is that actually a tactic. If they were any good or better than us they would have had 70% possession. Most teams know giving teams that amount of possession usually results in losing a game.

Really angry after that today. Players up front need a kick in the haw maws. Something needs to change and fast. Surely Robinson’s lad must be better than Hylton and Hastie ?

I stopped reading at “making lots of chances”.

For all the positive press that our midfield get, we are creating next to nothing in terms of making chances

Doesn’t help if you have 4 wingers on the park that would be hard pushed to make 1 winger oot of the 4 of them

Hastie should be sent packing back to Ibrox ASAP.

Seedorf and Hylton are shite bags and Lang is not a winger …… Throw in a championship center forward and it’s know hard to see how we are not scoring
