At a stretch, I’d give it to McGinley. Far from great but there was enough in his performance that bodes well for the future.  Concern for me is that even Campbell has failed to make an impact in this fixture for some time.

Campbell was outnumbered and outmuscled the whole match.  The expectations we have for Campbell are totally unrealistic as most of the time he is having to do the work of three midfielders. Think about the experience and international caps the three Celtic midfielders have and compare with ours. Allan is a great wee player but he needs help badly.

I thought Cole had something about him first half and big Toby’s surges up the left in the second half gave us hope.
