bobbybingo 143 Report post Posted December 31, 2020 If Stephen Robinson wasn't the problem and we have a good quality squad, can someone please explain exactly how we ended up where we are?

If you ever work it out, you'll make a fortune. It happens in leagues across the world where even the same core squad with the same manager will do well one season and crash the next. Once the rot sets in it's difficult to turn it around as a lot of it is psychological. In the same way, when you are on a roll, and can't stop winning. GrahamH 133 Report post Posted January 1 Full game is on BBC Alba at 6:00pm for anyone who wants to avoid the score and watch it “live”.

Done very well last year but can hardly even score now. Wee bit of luck can make a big difference one way or the other
Kmcalpin 1,040 Report post Posted January 2 The BBC reports that Long and Carson are doubtful, which would indicate that the latter's injury is not as bad as we first feared. Should he fail to make it who will be our substitute goalie?

Should he fail to make it who will be our substitute goalie? Aaron Chapman hopefully with PJ Morrison recalled. I wouldn't be risking Carson on that pitch today. Would probably say the same for Carroll at this point in his recovery. I'd be inclined to go with Morrison O'Donnell Mugabi Gallagher McGinlay Grimshaw Campbell Maguire Crawford Cole Watt Frankly a poor looking lineup but with Carson and Carroll not worth risking, Donnelly injured and Polworth out of form, it's all that's available. Lamie, White, Seedorf and Hastie can all go as far as I'm concerned...
Onthefringes 670 Report post Posted January 2 Doubt we’ll see Lamie. I’d expect width being added also.
wellsince75 66 Report post Posted January 2 I'd play Hastie - I know he's not a fans favourite for many reasons but we need width and he offers that. He and Polworth are the only players likely to offer anything creative in midfield (until we get new signings )

The wee man 4 Report post Posted January 2 On early sign of Lasley's suitability for job will be if he selects Lammie. If he does, afraid he rules himself out right away.
ropy 655 Report post Posted January 2 I don’t know if a frosty plastic pitch is the right setting but Hastie should get one more run out before he is jettisoned. Maybe wait till he is up against Tait next week.
Andy H 49 Report post Posted January 2 PJ Morrision has been recalled from Falkirk so presumably goes into the squad today
underboyleheating 1,412 Report post Posted January 2 We have a reasonable away record against this mob, and hopefully the players will respond in the correct manner. Let’s do this!
Lobey_Dosser 783 Report post Posted January 2 I don’t have high expectations for today given how tricky a venue this tends to be. However, I’m intrigued to see if Lasley’s shape and personnel is noticeably different from what we’ve seen in recent weeks.

fizoxy 518 Report post Posted January 2 Chapman, O'Donnell, Gallagher, Mugabi, Carroll, Grimshaw, Campbell, Polworth, Cole, Hastie, Watt. Subs: Morrison, Devine, McGinley, Johnston, Crawford, Maguire, Cornelius, Seedorf, White.
fizoxy 518 Report post Posted January 2 Could be 442 with grimshaw on the right of midfield, or 433 with grimshaw in a 3, or 3 at the back with o'donnell moving in one. I'll go with option 2.
