bobbybingo 299 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 Given the circumstances, can't sniff at a draw. But if we don't fancy our chances against Ross County, we really are in deep shite. 2-0 the Well.
texanwellfan 601 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 We have a realistic chance to take 15 points from now till end of February. This game is the start. We need the 3 points to get morale up and send us in the right direction.
milo 478 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 Lose this and the best we’re doing this season is 11th. Alexander may well be a decent manager but he’s inherited the most gutless shower of shite in a generation. 4-1 County.
grizzlyg 603 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 Ohara or maguire for that clown, smith for seedorf. 3pts a must

couttsy 91 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 I’d take a point now. Ohara, McGuire and Lawless (if fit) in for Polworth, Crawford and Seedorf. My god we quickly need to find a creative midfielder from somewhere!

Ya Bezzer! 1,779 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 Must win. We cannot continue to not win matches. And if we lose this you can see a full blown collapse in confidence that could lead to a death spiral. We've just got to dig it out somehow. Next two games are massive.

Ped_MFC 94 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 Would happily take a point, don't think we have the character within the team to get it unfortunately. I think it'll be between us and the Accies for 11th/12th.
Lobey_Dosser 805 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 We have four centre forwards in the frame for a start, none of whom are at their best out wide. Can we try playing 2 through the middle? Any word on Lawless injury? We are in desperate need of his wee bit of composure and quality on the ball.

Grimshaw may have recovered from illness but that's not a given. Like it or not Hastie could be an option. Hopefully OTF is right about Lawless. He's usually on the money. Last post by: 40 Report post Posted January 23, 2021 If we appear the Polworth red card does that as a consiquence free him up to play the Ross County match? I'm assuming the hearing won't take place before our match in Dingwall.

texanwellfan 601 Report post Posted January 24, 2021 I’m sure watt in midfield would be better for us than a petulant Polworth
joewarkfanclub 850 Report post Posted January 24, 2021 I would expect some changes for this one. Id go 4-4-2 with Smith starting potentially alongside Long. If Polworth is indeed suspended I would presume that Watt and hopefully Lawless will play the wide midfield roles with 2 of Campbell, Crawford and OHara in the middle. Defence picks itself. Big game. Be nice to win it but must not lose.
