Season 2020’21: Game 34: St Mirren (H)

Recommended Posts

Any chance the team might realise what is at stake?
Also on course to register zero wins v st Mirren in 4 games this season and failed to beat them in 7 games now.

Embarrassing.

Very poor performance so far. St.Mirren look the most likely to take all three points.

That said for all ST Mirrens possession and good play the only serious save Kelly has had to make is the pen, we've had the best chance of the game and Long missed.

Other than a couple of bits of good play that lead to chances,we have been absolute shite, big hoofs up the park from gallagher and lamie are pitiful, midfield non existent yet again.

All long balls go through to Alnwick, strange tactic

True,we can't even play a decent long ball,it's not like we have strikers on the park that you would think they might win something in the air.strange tactic as you say, between the management team and the players playing the long balls, you would think somebody would suss it's not working and hadn't work all season.

Really miss Watt's ability to hold the ball and get others involved. Long ball upfield isn't sticking at all. Also, no point in Lawless being on the pitch at the moment, he is not being used at all.

St.Mirren are moving the ball well, moving it quickly and effectively. They are making Motherwell look like a lower league team.

Lawless was completely ineffective in the 1st half. Maguire should adds a bit more solidity to the midfield.

I think the boy landed on him and did either Roberts knee or ankle. He looks in some real pain.

Gutted. Roberts by far our best outfield player today and losing him is a huge blow for the cup.
