There was a goal earlier on in the tournament which was disallowed because a player was deemed to be blocking the view of the keeper who was already diving when there was a deflection which put the ball in the other corner, in the next game a shot was hit from outside the area which almost hit a player in an offside position standing in front of the keeper but it was deemed OK.

Yes, that was a ridiculous decision. The player was not blocking the view of the keeper who dived to his right to save the ball. He’s already in mid air when deflection takes ball the other way into the net. How the Fk did the player in offside position interfere or obstruct the goalie’s view?  The whole taking up an offside position to gain advantage for the second ball also annoys me. Then anytime you are looking at physical challenge that is purely speculative. I would never have deemed that a penalty on the keeper versus Messi.
