What a bounce when that equaliser went in. I think even better for me was a couple of old boys on the subway home talking about Rangers penalties, goals that should’ve stood, Motherwell red cards etc hahaha

Now to build on it. Ross County and Dundee at Fir Park. Maximum points pls

Very pleasing result. But we shouldnt let it cover over the cracks of a very poor first half. It was always going to be difficult with the bounce Rangers got after beating Dortmund, and they certainly came out the traps flying, but we just didnt seem to get to grips with their movement at all. If it werent for Kelly the game would have been over at half time without us having registered a shot at goal.

Credit where its due though, the changes GA made at half time certainly worked and although their level definitely dropped off a little from the heights they hit in the first half, we still had to go and take advantage of it and we did.

Woolery had a very good second half and showed that he does have the pace and talent to cause teams problems in our league. He just needs to have the confidence to show that more often.  There isnt a full back in the country would live with him on that form.

We definitely rode our luck a little at the end and I didnt feel that putting the extra defenders on made us any more solid at the back. Just invited more pressure. But we survived to take what ultimately was a very satisfying point.

Just a shame the ball to Roberts at the end didnt fall to Woolery. The absolute meltdown in their support, had we actually won the game, would have been delightful!

Rangers have only dropped 4 points at home this season and we’ve got 2 of them. One for the startups. When was the last time we were unbeaten at Ibrox in a league season.

They got 2 points off our 2 games which is 4 points dropped. So look Iike we are the only ones to take any points from ibrox ?

If Aberdeen can get a point there then anyone in this league can. Having said that, only bothered by what we manage to achieve and a couple of points is probably more than we expected.

I was somewhat worried by the attitude that, having had a run of poor results in what might be considered a run of tougher matches, things would almost automatically be better for us when we get to play against the lesser lights in the league. To assume that would be a big mistake. The standard across the league is not that high and, outwith the Old Firm, there is very little between the teams. We need to be aware of this, and that some of these sides are now fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table. No easy fixtures.

They’ve dropped 8 points at home - 4 draws.

1959/60 brought a series of fruitful results against them. Obviously we only played them twice in the league but we also played them twice in the League Cup and won 4 out of 4 ties.

This result will count for hehaw if we don’t back it up against Ross County and Dundee. Must win both games to try and consolidate a top 6 place.

It's in the teams  own hands.

2 winnable games at home with the crowd and a decent result behind them. Confidence must be high in the dressing room.

They won't have a better chance to get a top six finish so time to show us what they're made of.

To be fair they didn't beat us at all in the league during the 2012/13 to 2015/16 seasons.
