Ricki fucking Lamie! 

When he first signed I thought his 1st name was pish as that's what the bloke behind me always shouted at him.

In case we needed more proof, we are always a better team when Slattery and van Veen are playing.

But I agree Ricki takes it this week. He's one of the ones that stepped up when we needed him.

The change of shape and tempo at half time was huge as well but KVV made too many mistakes. Still though his coming on changed the game.

Great team performance but I went for Cornelius. He covered every blade of grass last night and I saw glimpses of Campbell in his performance. Happy days.

I thought it was between Lamie, O'Donnell and Slattery. I resisted the obvious temptation to vote for Lamie because I felt that O'Donnell looked good offensively and defensively for the full 90 (+7) minutes. Honourable mentions to Kelly (again) and Shields.

Deano had a very good game. He gives you everything he has every week. As a team you need someone with that drive and energy in the engine room. He also has sufficient quality to hold his own in there against most teams. He is still learning obviously, but  I think we are getting to the stage where he has to be considered a first team regular, rather than a budding academy graduate.
