Some fine performances today

Jim OBrien was immense as many have mentioned and voted to reflect

surprised no one has commented on Craigans return, almost flawless, on the day and a real captains display, encouraging and providing guidance and focus to those around him.

But my vote was for:

Big Shaun Hutchison

J.O'B for me. The whole team were outstanding though with the main standouts being Hutch, Crags and big Sutts. THe hokey Cokey was superb.Dare I say the new Uncle Phil?

Forbes brilliantly effective and what an effort off the bar. Saunders solid at right back and Hately strong in midfield.

Think that covers it  .

Thought Hutchison was superb today. Battled well and not scared to put his body on the line if needed. Big mention to Jim O'Brien too, a real threat every time he got the ball. Great performance today and hopefully there's more to come.

Given that our pre-match fears focused on the inevitability of Kyle scoring, then Craigan and Hutchison deserve a helluva lot of credit for the manner in which they limited the impact of both striker.

MOTM has to go to O'Brien, his touch, trickery and delivery were exceptional today. On top of all his skill, the boy runs his balls off week in, week out. really deserved a goal today to top of a blinding performance. Hopefully he is saving his goals for McGhee next week.

Fair play , im one of O'Brien's fiercest critics but he done well on the ball today for the first two goals (he wasnt going any further at the second !) . Probably the best game ive seen him have in a Motherwell shirt (not much competition IMO) and still believe he'll have to do better than today if he doesnt want to lose his place when Slane is fit !
