weesacs Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 i think this may have come up before, but i was wondering................ over the last 10-15 years we've done "not too bad" against them, so i'm hopeful for tomorrow is there a "league" that would show how everyone else has done against them in that period?? surely we must be up there. McGooJnr87 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 we've had a few drubbins aswell. 7-1 celtic at fir park and 5-1 rangers - cant think(off the top of my head) of any other potential 'table toppers' getting those results. got a feeling aberdeen would be top of it, then hibs or hearts then us. brainier Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 No league table but from an article I wrote for GLF in Nov 2006. Figures from start of Premier League in mid 70's. Only Aberdeen and Dundee Utd had more wins against Rangers. They were both ahead against Celtic while we tied with Hibs and were one ahead of Hearts. Picked up a few decent results here and there but oh for the rose tinted possibly days of late 80's to mid 90's where wins cropped up quite a bit. Would be interesting to see draws too though as we draw alot against them at home!!! Right up them and here's to joint third tommorow!!! (in more than one league table perhaps..) Posted September 12, 2009 Report Share Posted September 12, 2009 I do know that we beat Rangers more during the 1990's more than any other team (including Celtic) and that ourselves and Dundee United had the best record against the Old Firm during that decade.
