As for the numerous trialists. Only 2 looked half decent: No4 for the Black kit. Centre half looked solid enough. But we are well served in that area. No9 for the Black kit. Salim is his name. Nothing spectacular but was comfortable on the ball and sprayed the ball around well. maybe worth another look. As for Gloria Estaban.........Knew it was too good to be true. Had 2-3 shots on goal with just the goalie to beat. To be fair Randy made good saves, but he never set the heather on fire. Shame really with all the fuss! Very impressed with the young players in the 2nd half. Jamie Pollock (14) could be an important player for us this year. Could see a role for him just behind a striker.
