Without wishing your life away or being any older/younger, what 5 Motherwell games you didn't attend, (for any reason), would you like to have been at.

For me:-

1. League clincher in 1932,

2. 1952 SFA Cup Final,

3. CIS Cup Semi -v- Hearts at Easter Road in 2005,

4. Record 8-0 humping of the Tims, and

5. Motherwell 6 Hibs 6 last May.

1. Any game without Ross Forbes

2. Any game without Ross Forbes

3. Any game without... you know the rest

So that 7-0 humping of Flamurtari you wish you weren't there?! The guy isn't that bad. He's just gonna get the Marc Fitzpatrick treatment though! Also, give me Fitzy in that midfield over Hateley any day of the week!

1991 Scottish Cup 4th Round Aberdeen 0-1 Motherwell

1952 Scottish Cup Final

2008 Nancy away

1959 The Saints hat trick in 2 and a half minutes against Hibs

1961 Ibrox Rangers 2-5 Motherwell

The Aberdeen game is the only round I missed on the way to the final, and it does my head in.

Nancy I was all set for it but work intervened

The other three because my Dad was there and spoke about them often.

In no particular order

1-0 cup win against Aberdeen in 91

The 4-2 Celtic replay in 91

Beating h**s 2-0 to more importantly keep us away from relegation trapdoor and nicely their title party.

52 cup final

Also whatever game sealed the league title way back when as well, though not necesarily mathematically chances are there was a fixture that maybe all but sealed it, crucial win over the ones from the dark side late in season maybe.

1950 League Cup Final (only 2 year old)

1952 Scottish Cup Final ( there was talk of me being the mascot,

but I caught measles the week before.)

1991 Scottish Cup Final (again very ill, went down on bended knees,

but doctors refused me permission.)

1960 Motherwell 9 Flamengo 2 ( I was there but would love to see it again)

1961 Rangers 2 Motherwell 5 ( as above, and any other times we beat the Squirm)

All European matches ( either ill or financial reasons)

Late 1920's and early 1930's ( by all reports we had a great fitba' team then

my mother and father used to talk about them.)

.................. 1960 Motherwell 9 Flamengo 2

My father used to speak very highly of that game. Floodlight Friendlies era ? Believe they were Brazilian Champions and scored very early doors, the large crowd drew it's breath expecting a humping ....... enter the Ancell Babes who destroyed the buggarz. :notworthy:

Well JAM 20

As I'm due another operation and knowing the NHS it'll probably be in January, I'll probably miss the League Cup Semi and the Final, so at the moment I'm keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to the Scottish Cup Final in May. ^_^
