Another point on the board I suppose. If someone said to me that at the start of the season after 15 games you would only have two defeats, then aye I’m going to bite your hand off for that. Actually looking at the table this must be some kind of record for the number of draws so far for all teams.

We were poor and to be honest I thought we played into their hands. Subs were poor - Sparrow & Longello were the minority offering something, appreciate the latter may be struggling with injury. We simply didn't react to their 4 subs, didn't changes anything and could have played all night and not scored. Expected better game mgt by the gaffer but equally appreciate a decent point on what is another dreadful pitch. Will stop now before I rant about why SPL entertain such nonsense.

Worst performance of the season. In saying that it’s against a team who is hard to play against, on a terrible park, so I’ll accept a point JBA should roast a few of them and we should expect better on Saturday

I think he was fit very briefly under JBA, with the emphasis on briefly. All we've been told is that he's out until after New Year, which could mean anything.

I dont think any of Boyles actions, decisions etc were made with any malicious or fradulent intent, for me it was just naievety and a lack of understanding of the particular environment re football in west central scotland. Spending money we could not afford in chasing a dream we were never going to realise.

As always, it will be interesting to see how the newly promoted clubs fare in the second round of fixtures after managers have sussed them out. Some will continue to progress and make a claim for staying up. Others will get found out and slide back towards the bottom end of the table. We're in a strange position at the moment. On one hand, I genuinely don't fear playing any team right now, home or away. On the other hand, I know we aren't good enough yet at killing teams off, so games can be very tight. I was listening to the BBC Scotland Football Podcast during the week, and one of the presenters was saying a Falkirk player told him the first half against us at Fir Park was the most difficult he had ever played in - couldn't get near the ball or the players. More of the same, but for two halves, will do nicely. As plastic goes, it's probably the best of the bunch and the home team needs it to be slick for their style of play - so hopefully they won't be trying to make it slow and sticky for this one. Still want it kicked out of the game, though, On a side note, I read about Norwegian Women's player that failed a drug test, and they figured out it the banned substance had transferred to them from the breakdown of rubber crumb on a plastic pitch. Even worse, the substance is banned in Norway and the EU, but is believed to exist in many of the pitches used in the UK.
